Espiel purchases two centrally located properties in Ramón y Cajal through a negotiated procedure
Por FactBox Admin

The Espiel City Council has definitively approved the acquisition through a negotiated procedure of two adjacent properties located in the center of the municipality, at Ramón y Cajal 6 and 8 street. The operation was agreed upon via Mayoral Resolution of October 8, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (No. 212, p. 15743), with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3451. The announcement appears in the Local Administration section of the provincial gazette.
The published text indicates that the file for the acquisition of assets through a negotiated procedure has already been approved, and that the announcement is inserted “for general knowledge and in compliance with article 8.1.a) of Law 19/2013, of December 9, on transparency, access to public information and good governance.” Furthermore, the documentation remains available to interested parties on the City Council’s electronic headquarters.
Two adjacent properties in the center of the municipality
According to the description included in the file, the two properties “are adjacent and located in the central part of the municipality.” Their registry and cadastral characteristics are as follows:
- Property at Ramón y Cajal 6: cadastral reference 3289030UH2238N0001OW, with 142 m² of built area on a plot of 106 m².
- Property at Ramón y Cajal 8: cadastral reference 3289031UH2238N0001KW, with 58 m² built and a plot of 338 m², twice as large as that of number 6.
- Number 8 also has a second access via N-432-a street, as detailed in the announcement.
The sum of both plots reaches 444 m², of which 200 m² correspond to built area, on one of the main streets of the town’s urban center.
A single-family home and an old forge
The file clearly distinguishes the use and typology of each of the acquired buildings. The property at number 6, for residential use, is described as “a two-story single-family terraced house with a back patio.” It is, therefore, a construction aligned with the adjacent buildings, characteristic of the street’s historical plot layout.
The property at number 8, on the other hand, has industrial use and houses “an old forge,” a testament to the municipality’s traditional artisanal activity. Its plot, of 338 m², is the larger of the two and has the additional access from the N-432-a road, which gives it a unique position within the urban fabric.
Deadlines and means of appeal
The resolution ends the administrative route, therefore the announcement details the available challenge alternatives:
- Optional appeal for reversal (recurso de reposición) before the Mayor of the City Council, within one month, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
- Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Córdoba, within two months from the date of notification, according to article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating the Contentious-Administrative Jurisdiction.
- If the appeal for reversal is chosen, the contentious-administrative appeal may not be filed until the former is expressly resolved or is dismissed by administrative silence.
The announcement was signed in Espiel on October 8, 2026, by the mayor, Antonio Bejarano Martín, and bears the Secure Verification Code 7A19 6522 4D53 0F37 CF04.
The purchase of these two adjacent properties in the heart of Espiel consolidates the City Council’s asset position on a stretch of Ramón y Cajal Street where housing and former artisanal activities coexist. The operation, processed through a negotiated procedure, directly affects the configuration of the municipality’s urban layout and leaves two plots of differing sizes in municipal hands: one compact and residential, the other spacious, industrial, and with access from the N-432-a highway, which opens a significant margin for future decisions regarding local public heritage.
