Esparreguera appoints two career auxiliary administrative officials

The Esparreguera City Council has made public the appointment of two new career civil servants from the general administration scale, auxiliary sub-scale, subgroup C2. The decision, adopted by the mayor through Decree No. 2892 of August 21, 2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB) on September 14, 2026, with the official reference CVE 202610138353.

The two appointed individuals must take office within one month from the publication of the appointment in the BOPB, and will be definitively assigned to the management assistant positions listed in the council’s Job Catalogue.

The new civil servants

The decree appoints the two candidates as career civil servants of the general administration scale, auxiliary sub-scale, subgroup C2, with the following position and job codes:

• Begoña Duartde Martin (DNI *0383), with position code AE.14.41, assigned to job code 5300 as a management assistant.
• Carmen Ruiz Martínez (DNI *2464), with position code AE.14.46, assigned to job code 5301 as a management assistant.

Deadlines and appeals

According to the text of the announcement, the taking of office must occur within one month counting from the publication of the appointment in the BOPB. An appeal for reversal may be filed against the resolution within one month starting from the day after the date of publication in the official gazette.

The announcement, signed by mayor Juan Jurado Bracero in Esparreguera on September 1, 2026, is made public for the general knowledge of the citizenry.

Relevance for the municipality

These appointments consolidate the administrative assistant staff of the Esparreguera City Council, reinforcing municipal management services with career personnel.
