Por FactBox Admin

The Department of Employment, Trade and Emigration has declared the exhaustion of the 3,950,000 euro credit for subsidies to promote innovation and sustainability in local and artisanal trade corresponding to the 2026 call. The decision appears in the Resolution of September 21, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 186, of September 30, 2026, in section III, p. 50717, with the reference CVE-DOG: 9q66mnu2-f6i2-cgn2-mbe2-3bcjujhupsp2. The announcement bears the signature of the Director General of Trade and Consumption, Gabriel Alén Castro, by delegation of the regional minister.
A line of aid on a first-come, first-served basis
The aid is governed by the Order of December 29, 2025, published in DOG no. 4, which establishes the regulatory bases and calls for subsidies for the year 2026 with a total credit of 3,950,000.00 euros. The granting is carried out under a non-competitive regime: applications are resolved by temporal priority until the available money is exhausted, as established in article 2.2 of the order.
According to the resolution, the date that determines the order of priority is the date and time of submission of the application in the electronic office of the Xunta de Galicia. If the application requires an amendment, the moment when the requesting entity correctly presents all the required documentation and information is counted; if there is an improvement or voluntary contribution, the date of that improvement is counted.
The call is aimed at local trade and the artisanal sector, which access the aid through the procedure identified with the code CO300C.
The last application received
Having reviewed the applications according to that temporal priority, the last one that could be granted was the one submitted on February 3, 2026, at 12:54:51 hours. From that moment on, there is no longer credit available for new grants in the 2026 call.
The budgetary data identified by the resolution are:
- Budgetary application: 14.06.751A.770.1.
- Project codes: 2026 00056 and 2024 00033.
- Procedure code: CO300C.
- Total credit of the call: 3,950,000.00 euros.
Publicity of the grants
The resolution also orders the publication in the DOG of the subsidies granted charged to that budgetary application, in compliance with article 15 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia, and article 17 of Law 1/2016, of January 18, on transparency and good governance. The publication must indicate the call, the program and the budgetary credit to which they are attributed, the purpose of the subsidy, the beneficiary person and the amount granted.
Interested parties can consult the grant lists, with the identification of the call, the beneficiary person and the amount granted, at the link to the state portal infosubvenciones.es included in the announcement itself, corresponding to call 879694.
What this means for the sector
The exhaustion of the credit in just over a month since the opening of the call excludes all shops and artisanal workshops that submitted their application after 12:54:51 hours on February 3, 2026. For the professionals who remained without aid, the means of recourse is limited to an eventual extension of credit or a new call, as the current order exhausts the funds assigned for this financial year.
