The resolution was issued on October 6, 2026, and is made public in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León no. 199, of Wednesday, October 14, 2026, page 142, within section I (Community of Castilla y León, E.2 Other Official Announcements). The announcement bears the official reference BOCYL-D-14102026-199-28.

The announcement comes from the Department of Environment and Energy, through the General Directorate of Energy and Mines, and is published in compliance with article 42.4 of Law 21/2013, of December 9, on environmental assessment.

The decision is based on the unfavorable environmental impact statement (EIS) of the project, which, according to the official text, “limits and conditions the final administrative decision.” Consequently, the utilization project cannot be authorized.

By application of articles 105.1.k) and 105.2 of the General Regulations for the Mining Regime (Royal Decree 2857/1978, of August 25), the Administration resolves to conclude the procedure and cancel the registration of the application.
