Energía expands the public utility of Naturgy's El Tabaibal wind farm

The General Directorate of Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands has granted Naturgy Renovables Canarias, S.L.U. the modification of the declaration, specifically, of public utility for the project called El Tabaibal Wind Farm, 4.7 MW, in the municipal districts of Santa Lucía de Tirajana and Agüimes, on the island of Gran Canaria. The resolution of the Director General of Energy is dated September 4, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas number 120, of October 7, 2026, on page 17115, with announcement number 3,190 and file number ER150053. The declaration of public utility is the legal requirement that enables the compulsory expropriation of the assets and rights necessary to execute the installation.
