Enagás processes the occupation of livestock tracks in Vila-real and Onda

The Territorial Directorate of Castellón, through the Forestry Section of the Environmental Service, has opened for public consultation the public domain concession of livestock routes in the municipal districts of Vila-real and Onda, requested by Enagás Transporte, SAU for the operation of the Castellón de la Plana-Onda Gas Pipeline. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) number 10437, dated August 26, 2026, with reference DOGV-C-2026-26541.

The file, identified as VP_2025_129, affects a total of 3,956 m² of livestock routes distributed between both municipalities. The processing complies, both in location and in characteristics and construction elements, with the project authorized in file STMA-SF-VPOCUP/22/2004, extended for a period of ten years through file STMA/SF/VP/OCUPACIÓN/44/2015.

Affected livestock routes

The concession affects seven livestock routes distributed between the two municipalities:

• Cañada real camino Viejo de Castellón (Vila-real), 2,165 m in length and 1,299 m²
• Vereda del camino de la Ratlla (Vila-real), 10 m and 6 m²
• Vereda de términos (Onda), 10 m and 6 m²
• Cañada real camino Viejo de Castellón (Onda), 1,001 m and 607 m²
• Colada de les Trencades (Onda), 15 m and 9 m²
• Colada Trencadella y Pedrera (Onda), 1,367 m and 820 m²
• Colada el Corral del Sastre (Onda), 2,015 m and 1,209 m²

All affected routes have an occupation width of 0.6 meters.

Legal framework and period for allegations

The processing is supported by article 33.2 of Law 3/2014, of July 11, of the Generalitat, on livestock routes of the Valencian Community, and by article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations. In compliance with both regulations, the file is submitted for public consultation for a period of one month from the publication of the announcement in the DOGV.

Interested parties may examine the file at the offices of the Forestry Section of the Territorial Directorate of Castellón, in the Prop building, avenida de los Hermanos Bou, 47, Castellón de la Plana, during public office hours, or through the department’s website. Appropriate allegations may be submitted within the same period.

Signature and scope

The announcement is signed by Diego Marín Fabra, head of the Territorial Environmental Service of Castellón, dated August 4, 2026, in exercise of the powers delegated by resolution of April 22, 2026 (DOGV 10349, of April 24, 2026).

The publication opens a period of citizen participation relevant to the municipalities of Vila-real and Onda, affected by the layout of the gas pipeline, and to the energy sector, which will see the regularization of the occupation of public livestock domain necessary for the operation of the gas transport infrastructure.
