Emprego amplía en 550.000 euros o bono remuda de autónomos

The Department of Employment, Trade and Emigration is increasing the budget allocation for program IV, relating to the relief bonus for self-employed workers, by 550,000 euros, thus increasing from the initial 1,500,000 euros to a total of 2,050,000 euros. The decision is made public through the Order of October 13, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG) no. 199, on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in section III (Other provisions), and enters into force the day following its publication, that is, October 21.

The framework: the 2026 call for self-employed workers

The extension modifies the allocation set by the Order of December 30, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the aid programs for self-employed workers, partially co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the ESF+ Galicia 2021-2027 program, and proceeds to its call for the year 2026 (published in DOG no. 23, of February 4, 2026). That text regulates five lines of aid, identified by the procedure codes TR341D, TR790A, TR341Q, TR353D, and TR341R.

Program IV, corresponding to TR353D, is the so-called relief bonus, intended to prevent the closure of businesses due to a lack of generational relief. Article 4 of the basic order set a credit of 1,500,000.00 euros for it, charged to budget application 14.02.322C.472.0, project 2024 00189 (own funds).

The order itself provided for this possibility: its article 4.6 authorizes the increase of the maximum amount of available credits in accordance with article 31.2 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia, and article 30.2 of its implementing regulation, conditioning the increase to the declaration of credit availability by generation, extension or incorporation of credit, the existence of surpluses from other calls, or a transfer of credit.

What changes and what does not

The new order contains a single material change, articulated in two precepts:

  • Article 1 increases the total amount of aid for procedure TR353D by 550,000.00 euros, charged to the same application 14.02.322C.472.0 and the same project 2024 00189, provided for in the general budgets of the Autonomous Community of Galicia for the year 2026.
  • Article 2 specifies that these modifications do not affect the deadline established in the call order for the submission of applications.
  • The sole final provision sets the entry into force on the day following its publication in the DOG.

The text was signed in Santiago de Compostela on October 13, 2026, by the Minister of Employment, Trade and Emigration, José González Vázquez, and bears the official reference CVE-DOG: bssqyp74-2b48-ohl8-com7-dzi4zkabl7d8.

Support for associations and the relief pool

The expansion occurs within a context of strengthening generational relief instruments. DOG no. 181, dated September 23, 2026, published the Resolution of September 14, 2026, from the Technical General Secretariat of the same department, regarding the agreements signed in the second four-month period, including the one signed on June 3, 2026, with the associations of self-employed workers in Galicia present at the self-employment working table, endowed with 12,000 euros.

The purpose of that agreement is to finance support activities in the business generational relief program (TR353D): advice and valuation reports on the business plans of applicants, as well as the incorporation into the business relief pool of the Xunta de Galicia of establishments close to closing due to a lack of generational relief or due to the personal circumstances of the promoters.

Why it matters

The increase to 2.05 million arrives with the 2026 call already in effect and without altering the application deadlines, meaning that self-employed workers seeking substitution can apply under the same conditions but with a larger available credit. For businesses without family or professional relief, the relief bonus is the direct route to facilitate the continuity of the activity instead of closure.
