Emprego amplía en 3,75 millóns as axudas aos centros especiais de emprego

The Department of Employment, Trade and Emigration is increasing the budget allocation for grants to special employment centers (CEE) by 3,750,792.01 euros to promote the labor integration of people with disabilities. This is established by the Order of September 7, 2026, signed by the counselor José González Vázquez, published in the Official Gazette of Galicia (DOG no. 174) on September 14, 2026, on page 48715.

The measure extends the scope of the Order of April 13, 2026 (DOG no. 71, of April 17), which establishes the regulatory bases for these grants and proceeds with their call for 2026, with procedure codes TR341K, TR342D, and TR341M.

An increase funded with earmarked State funds

Article 2 of the April order already provided for the possibility of increasing the maximum amount of available credits, conditioned on the declaration of credit availability. In this case, the increase is met with earmarked State funds resulting from the generation of reimbursement credits and remnants from other grant calls, transferred to project code 2018 00099 through the appropriate budgetary modifications.

The extension is based on Article 30 of Decree 11/2009, of January 8, which approves the Regulation of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies in Galicia, as well as Law 38/2003, of November 17, general law on subsidies, and Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21.

Distribution of credit by programs

The amount is divided among programs I, II, and III of the call, according to the following distribution:

  • 14.04.324C.470.3 — Support measures for CEE (private companies): 206,374.93 €
  • 14.04.324C.470.4 — Salary costs for people with disabilities in CEE (private companies): 3,391,165.89 €
  • 14.04.324C.481.4 — Salary costs for people with disabilities in CEE (associative entities): 153,251.19 €

The bulk of the credit, more than 3.39 million euros, is destined for the salary costs of people with disabilities employed in private companies, confirming the weight of this line in the Xunta’s inclusive employment policy.

Deadlines and entry into force

The extension does not modify the application submission deadlines set in the April 2026 order. The maximum date for submitting the payment request and justification of the eligible actions will be the one indicated in the granting resolution of each grant.

The order will enter into force on the day following its publication in the Official Gazette of Galicia, that is, on September 15, 2026.

With this budgetary reinforcement, the Xunta seeks to deliver grants to the largest possible number of beneficiary individuals and entities, guaranteeing the continuity and stability of special employment centers as a key tool for the labor insertion of people with disabilities in Galicia.
