El Valle expands public information on the Restábal tourist complex

The El Valle City Council has agreed to extend by fifteen days the period for the public information process and hearing for interested parties regarding the Action Project for the implementation of a Recreational and Wellness Tourism Complex in Restábal, following the incorporation of complementary and corrective documentation submitted by the developer into the file. The decision is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada, number 177, dated September 14, 2026, with reference BOP-GRA-2026-177006.

The extension is adopted via the Mayoral Decree, Resolution No. 306, dated September 7, 2026, issued within the urban planning administrative file 21/2025. The extended period, which will be counted from the end of the initial period scheduled for September 18, will conclude on October 9, 2026, the deadline for interested parties to examine the file and submit allegations.

A project of impact in the region

The project, promoted by the Almond Oasis Association, is located on Plot 39 of Polygon 4 of El Valle, with cadastral reference 18132A004000390000QI. It is an urban development project of a tourism and wellness nature which, due to its scale, is relevant to the development of the Valle de Lecrín region.

During the processing, the developer submitted complementary documentation on April 2, 2025, at 4:49 PM, completing the materials provided at 12:36 PM on the same date, by incorporating the plans and graphic documentation that were initially missing, including technical documentation in DWG format.

Incorporated corrective documentation

Through the Mayoral Decree, Resolution No. 305, also dated September 7, 2026, the City Council determined that both submissions correspond to the same Action Project, assigning a complementary and corrective character to the documentation submitted at 4:49 PM and agreeing to its incorporation into the file.

The extension does not imply the opening of a new procedure or an independent public information process, but rather the prolongation of the current process, in order to guarantee that interested parties have adequate knowledge of the incorporated documentation and the effective exercise of their right to participate.

How to consult the file and submit allegations

The file and all the documentation comprising it may be consulted during the extended period:

• In person: at the offices of the El Valle City Council, located at Avda. de Andalucía nº 34, 18658 Restábal (El Valle), from 09:00 to 13:00 hours.
• By electronic means: through the City Council’s electronic office, the citizen folder, and the municipal notice board and transparency portal.

Allegations may be submitted at any of the locations and by any of the means provided for in Article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The announcement is signed by the mayor-president, Mr. Antonio Ruiz Garrido, in El Valle, on September 7, 2026.

The extension of the process offers residents, entities, and agents of the region a new opportunity to learn about a major tourism project and exercise their right to file allegations before the City Council resolves on the final admission of the action in Restábal.
