Por FactBox Admin

The Selection Board of the Autonomous City of Melilla has published the indicative schedule for the competitive examination phase for the permanent appointment of four Technical Architect positions, belonging to the Special Administration scale, technical sub-scale, through an open competitive process. The announcement appears in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous City of Melilla (BOME) number 6414, dated September 15, 2026, under reference BOME-A-2026-1040.
The agreement was adopted by the Board in a session held on September 9, 2026, with the aim of facilitating the monitoring and planning of the selection process for the applicants. The call for these positions dates back to BOME number 6356, of February 24, 2025, which initiated the open competitive procedure.
Calendar of Tests
The published schedule sets the temporal forecast for the three exercises that make up the competitive phase:
- First exercise: September 21, 2026, a date that has already been subject to the corresponding official publication.
- Second exercise: from October 13 to 20, 2026.
- Third exercise: from November 9 to 15, 2026.
Indicative Nature of the Calendar
The announcement itself expressly warns that the schedule is indicative in nature and constitutes a mere planning forecast agreed upon by the Selection Board. The indicated dates are not binding and may be modified by agreement of the Board when organizational, technical, material, or any other circumstances arise that advise doing so to ensure the proper development of the selection process.
The publication responds to the principles of publicity and transparency and aims to facilitate the proper planning of the different phases of the procedure for the applicants, without this entailing any alteration of the call’s rules or generating a right or expectation of right regarding the indicated dates.
Signature and Dissemination
The announcement, dated in Melilla on September 10, 2026, is signed by the Head of the Remuneration Section, Francisca Fernández del Carmen, and is disseminated through the official gazette of the autonomous city, where it can be consulted in full.
The publication of this calendar is of particular relevance for the applicants in the selection process, who will have a clear temporal reference to prepare for each of the exercises. The proximity of the first exam, barely six days after the dissemination of the announcement, underscores the need for candidates to remain attentive to the official communications of the Board, which may adjust the dates based on the needs of the process.
