Por FactBox Admin

The Tagus Hydrographic Confederation has called for the drawing up of the records prior to the occupation of the assets and rights affected by the sanitation and purification works of the city of Cáceres. The owners are summoned on November 11 and 12, 2026, at the Cáceres City Council. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres no. 0203, dated October 22, 2026, in Section III - State Administration (official reference: BOP-2026-4981).
The action “Sanitation and purification of the city of Cáceres” was declared to be of general interest to the State by Law 26/2009, of December 23, on the General State Budgets for 2010. Its twenty-eighth additional provision implies the declaration of public utility and urgency for the purposes of Article 52 of the Compulsory Expropriation Law of December 16, 1954, which enables the urgent occupation of the assets.
The project is included in the Tagus Hydrological Plan 2022-2027, approved by Royal Decree 35/2023, of January 24, under measure ES030_2_551_314 (“New WWTP in Cáceres”). The General Directorate of Water approved the public information file of the expropriation supplement on April 17, 2026, and administratively approved the project on May 9, 2026.
Summoning Schedule at the City Council
The drawing up of records will take place at the Cáceres City Council over two days:
- November 11, 2026, from 12:00 to 14:30 and from 16:30 to 18:00 hours.
- November 12, 2026, from 9:00 to 13:15 hours.
Each property has a specific day and time assigned in the list annexed to the announcement. Affected parties must appear personally or through a proxy, with a National Identity Document and documentation proving ownership, and may be accompanied by experts and a notary at their own expense.
Approximately thirty properties and various owners
The published list includes 32 properties within the municipal boundaries of Cáceres, with areas for permanent expropriation, easement, and temporary occupation. Among the owners are:
- Cáceres City Council, in several plots of polygons 19, 18, 38354, 13, and 12.
- Inversiones Tirema SL, with the largest permanent expropriation estate: 6,450 m² and 23,271 m² of temporary occupation.
- Telesol SA, Broneg SA, and Gestión y Obras Nadir SL, joint owners of three estates.
- Regional Government of Extremadura, Provincial Council of Cáceres, Railway Infrastructure Administrator, and Tagus Hydrographic Confederation.
- Fernando Valhondo Calaff Foundation, Mercedes Calles and Carlos Ballest Foundation, Hermanos Quintero Ramajo SL, and Little Sisters of the Poor Madrid Province Provincial Curia.
- Natural persons such as Luis Ignacio Acha Iturmendi, Julio Alberto Rebollo Pulido, and Laura Burdalo Dorado, along with several heirs and family communities.
Allegations, prior deposit, and contact
Until the drawing up of the prior records, interested parties may submit written allegations aimed solely at correcting errors in the list of assets. The writings shall be addressed to the Tagus Hydrographic Confederation, at Avenida de Portugal 81 in Madrid, or to the ACUAES offices at calle Agustín de Betancourt 25, 4th floor, in Madrid.
Following the prior record, the prior deposit for occupation will be offered and, where applicable, damages for rapid occupation; if the payment is rejected or the affected party does not appear, the amount will be deposited in the General Deposit Fund (Caja General de Depósitos). Case file information is available via telephone at 976 30 66 50 and 91 418 21 10. The announcement was signed in Madrid on October 14, 2026, by the president of the Confederation, Antonio Yáñez Cidad, and in the case file, ACUAES assumes the status of beneficiary.
The call opens the formal channel for owners of land affected by the collectors and pumping stations to collect their compensation and for the new Cáceres WWTP, co-financed by the ERDF 2021-2027 program, to be executed without blockages on the land. For those affected, the established calendar implies a mandatory appearance in barely three weeks.
