El SMS publica los admitidos definitivos para 23 plazas de emergencias sanitarias

The Murcian Health Service (SMS) has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants in the selective tests to fill 23 positions in the category of Health Auxiliary Technician, option Health Emergencies/Driver, for the open access and internal promotion shifts. The resolution, signed by the Director General of Human Resources, José Tomás Piñera Lucas, is dated October 9, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) No. 244, of October 22, 2026, with the official reference A-221026-5139. The same act appoints the qualifying board and sets the date for the examination phase of the competitive process.

From the provisional list to the final list

The original call dates back to the Resolution of the SMS Management Directorate of December 4, 2025, published in BORM No. 291, of December 18, which established a competitive examination process for those 23 positions. The eighth specific basis required the prior publication of a provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants, open to claims for ten business days; that provisional list was approved by Resolution of May 19, 2026 (BORM No. 127, of June 4, 2026).

Following the claims period and in view of the proposal from the Selection Service of the General Directorate of Human Resources, the Management Directorate now resolves to approve the final list. Those who did not correct their deficiencies within the deadline are excluded from the process.

The lists are not published in the BORM

The annexes containing the names of the applicants (Annex I, admitted; Annex II, excluded or omitted with fees paid) are not reproduced in the gazette. They are displayed, from the day of publication, at:

  • The notice boards of the SMS General Directorate of Human Resources.
  • The Citizen Service Office of the Ministry of Health.
  • The intranet https://somos.sms.carm.es/.
  • The website Murciasalud.es/oposiciones.

The resolution warns that final admission does not prevent the exclusion of an applicant if it is verified at any time that they do not meet the requirements, following a hearing, nor in the event of falsehood or non-existence of the documentation justifying the exemption or reduction of the fee.

Qualifying board and exam date

The board in charge of the selection consists of five members, with principals and alternates:

  • Chairmanship: Francisco Quiñonero Méndez (principal) and Francisco Javier Matas Fuentes (alternate).
  • First Member: José Manuel Ballesta Melgar (principal) and Antonio Bastida Noguera (alternate).
  • Second Member: José Izquierdo Ruiz (principal) and Antonio Hernández Marín (alternate).
  • Third Member: Antonio Francisco Villa López (principal) and Sebastián Bastida Noguera (alternate).
  • Secretariat: Antonio Hernández López (principal) and Daniel Hernández Ródenas (alternate).

The competitive examination phase will be held in a single call on April 17, 2027. Candidates must bring a physical ID card, passport, or driver’s license; non-nationals may provide identification via passport or residence card. The time, location, and classroom distribution will be published at Murciasalud.es/oposiciones at least ten days in advance, and it will be mandatory to bring a blue or black pen.

Prohibitions and Appeal Process

Access to classrooms with powered-on mobile devices, smartwatches or smart glasses, wireless headphones, computers, or any other electronic communication or storage device is strictly prohibited. The tribunal may use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth detection systems to verify that phones are turned off, and the possession of such devices will result in an incident report. Applicants must keep their ear canals clear and justify the use of hearing aids or continuous glucose monitoring devices with a medical report.

An administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed against the resolution before the Health Counselor within one month from the day following its publication in the BORM, in accordance with articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015.

The calendar no longer admits corrections: with the lists closed and the tribunal constituted, candidates for the health emergency services of the Region of Murcia have until April 2027 to prepare for a single-call exam, with no second opportunity regarding time or venue.
