SESPA awards four supervisory positions in Health Area II

The Management of Health Area II Center-Southwest of the Health Service of the Principality of Asturias (SESPA) has resolved the filling of four middle management positions through three resolutions published in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias (BOPA) number 161, dated August 20, 2026. The selection processes, convened between February and May of this year, award unit supervision and group leadership positions to four professionals from the public health service.
The resolutions, signed in Oviedo on August 6 and 7, 2026, are framed within Decree 87/2014, of October 8, which regulates the systems for providing singularized job positions and middle management within the scope of SESPA, modified by Decree 49/2019, of June 21. All awardees must take office the day after publication in the BOPA and pass an evaluation at the end of each five-year period of effective performance.
Awarding of Methodological Resources
The resolution of August 6, 2026 (code 2026-06783) resolves the selection process convened by resolution of May 13, 2026 (BOPA 27-V-2026) to fill two positions of Unit Supervisor: Methodological Resources. After evaluating the curricula and management projects, the Valuation Commission proposed the two candidates who met the requirements and achieved the required score.
- Julia Raquel Camporro Martín, awardee of a position as Unit Supervisor of Methodological Resources.
- M.ª Carmen Fernández González, awardee of the second position as Unit Supervisor of Methodological Resources.
Adult Hospitalization
The resolution of August 6, 2026 (code 2026-06786) resolves the call for a position of Unit Supervisor of Adult Hospitalization (9th C and Hematopoietic Transplant), initiated by the former Management of Health Area IV through resolution of February 23, 2026 (BOPA 6-III-2026).

Health Card Group Leadership
The resolution of August 7, 2026 (code 2026-06803) resolves the selection process for a non-healthcare Group Leader position for the Health Card, convened by resolution of May 6, 2026 (BOPA 18-V-2026). The Commission evaluated the curriculum and the Memorandum/Report submitted by the candidate.
- M.ª Azucena García Pérez, awardee of the position of Group Leader of the Health Card.
Relevance for the public service
These awards cover middle management vacancies in Health Area II Center-Southwest, reinforcing the supervision structure of healthcare units and health card management. The resolutions, which do not exhaust administrative remedies, may be appealed via an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) before the Regional Minister of Health within one month of their publication, in accordance with the Principality of Asturias Law 7/2019, of March 29, on Health.
