El Servicio Riojano de Salud convoca 25 plazas fijas de Radiodiagnóstico

The Riojan Health Service has announced 25 permanent positions for Radiodiagnosis Specialist Technicians, corresponding to the Public Employment Offer for the years 2025 and 2026. The call is approved by the Resolution of October 8, 2026, from the Human Resources Directorate of the Management of the Riojan Health Service, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 197, dated October 13, 2026, with reference 202610080124911. The deadline for submitting applications is one month from the day following publication.

The resolution is issued under Decree 2/2011, of January 14, on the selection of statutory personnel and the provision of positions and jobs of the Riojan Health Service, and Royal Decree 184/2015, of March 13, which regulates the homogeneous catalog of equivalencies for the professional categories of statutory personnel. The positions derive from Decree 33/2025, of July 15 (OEP 2025) and Decree 12/2026, of May 12 (OEP 2026), and the process is governed by the general bases approved by the Resolution of April 30, 2025.

The call comes after the Resolution of June 5, 2026, declared the selection process for this category for the open competition shift corresponding to the OEP 2025 void. The category is assigned to Group C, Subgroup C1, and the selection system is a competitive examination (concurso-oposición).

Distribution of the 25 positions

  • Open competition: 13 positions (2 from OEP 2025 and 11 from OEP 2026).
  • Internal promotion: 11 positions, all from OEP 2026.
  • General disability reserve: 1 position.
  • Total: 25 positions.

Requirements and selection tests

Applicants must hold Spanish nationality or nationality of a European Union or European Economic Area State, and possess the title of Higher Technician in Imaging for Diagnosis and Nuclear Medicine or the Second Grade Vocational Training title, health branch, specialty in Radiodiagnosis, or an equivalent qualification.

The examination phase consists of a theoretical-practical multiple-choice questionnaire on the program subjects, with a maximum of 150 questions and a maximum time of three hours; it will be necessary to correctly answer at least 50% of the valid questions. Those applying for internal promotion positions are exempt from answering the general part of the program. The examination is valued at a maximum of 60 points and the competition phase at 40 points.

The program comprises 10 general topics and 32 specific ones, including digital radiology, computed axial tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance, ultrasonography, and radiation protection.

The temporary employment lists for the category will be formed in accordance with the Resolution of December 20, 2021, published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 249, dated December 22.

The resolution concludes the administrative process, and an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the Presidency of the Riojan Health Service within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of La Rioja within two months. The document is signed by the Director of Human Resources, María Begoña Lema de Pablo.

The call reinforces a critical category for diagnostic imaging in the Riojan healthcare system, after the open access of the previous offer remained vacant, and opens a stabilization path for technicians already serving in the system.
