El Servicio Canario de Empleo publica las subvenciones directas del tercer trimestre

The Canarian Employment Service has made public the list of direct grants awarded in the third quarter of 2026, including those intended to finance the labor inclusion of people with disabilities in the ordinary labor market. The publication is formalized through an announcement dated October 20, 2026, by the director of the organization, María Teresa Ortega Granados, which appears in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (Boletín Oficial de Canarias) no. 219, of November 3, 2026 (announcement 3769, starting on page 39362).

The dissemination is supported by Article 31, section c), of Law 12/2014, of December 26, on transparency and access to public information, which mandates the publication of grants awarded without a competitive call. The annex details, beneficiary by beneficiary, the NIF (Tax ID), the corporate name or name, and the amount, grouped by budget program and purpose.

Labor inclusion: nearly fifty entities

The main block corresponds to the grants for the labor inclusion program for people with disabilities in the ordinary market, charged to budget program 241L and project 50400039, the purpose of which is to facilitate integration through permanent hiring. The regulatory bases are those approved by the Order of December 30, 2022, of the Ministry of Tourism and Employment. As reasons for the lack of a public call, Article 28 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and section 1.a) of Royal Decree 818/2021 are invoked.

The highest amounts on the list are:

  • INTEGRA MANTENIMIENTO, GESTIÓN Y SERVICIOS INTEGRADOS: 166,035.88 euros.
  • CENTRO ESPECIAL DE EMPLEO NOVAVIDA: 126,238.89 and 131,643.63 euros.
  • INTEGRACION DE ACTIV. MEDIOAMBIENTAL: four grants of 99,635.70, 109,332.84, 100,851.39 and 112,287.38 euros.
  • MITIE INTEGRA CANARIAS, S.L.: 108,601.40 and 117,990.12 euros.
  • DESARROLLO SOCIAL CANARIAS, S. L.: four grants for 97,763.74, 89,061.15, 95,902.13 and 91,834.32 euros.
  • LAVANDERIAS MECANICAS CRISOL SL: four grants between 72,931.73 and 82,536.80 euros.
  • GRUPO SIFU CANARIAS SL and ENVERA EMPLEO, S.L.U.: four grants each, all above 21,000 euros.

Alongside the companies appear social initiative entities such as ASOC AFES SALUD MENTAL (4,282.50 euros), FUND. CANARIA PARA FOMENTO TRANSPORESPECIAL ADAPTADO (30,192.53) or OBRA SOCIAL DE ACOGIDA Y DESARROLLO (33,326.21), and three natural persons: González Rodríguez, Miguel Ángel (7,000 euros), López Gil, Jonay (6,000) and Ramos Gaspar, Vicente (2,941.38).

Aid and scholarships for unemployed persons

The annex also includes the direct subsidy for the payment of grants and scholarships to unemployed persons, under Order TAS/718/2008, of March 7, charged to program 241H and project 50400001, in application of article 6.5.d) of Law 30/2015, of September 9. This involves thousands of individual beneficiaries with small unit amounts, most between a few dozen and 2,000 euros, intended for transport, meals, accommodation, and the reconciliation of attendance at training actions.

Local development and vocational guidance projects

Another section collects the projects for the promotion of development and territorial economic activity (PRODAE), regulated by the framework agreement between the Canarian Employment Service and the Canarian Federation of Municipalities and financed with program 241k and project 50400041. Most city councils receive 25,000 euros, with exceptions such as the City Council of La Laguna (150,000), the City Council of Arona (75,000), the Island Council of La Palma (41,666.66), and the City Council of Granadilla de Abona (41,664.20).

The multi-annual subsidies for vocational guidance (period January 2025-December 2028) and for self-employment consultancy (January 2026-December 2028) concentrate the highest amounts of the announcement. In guidance, the General Union of Workers of the Canary Islands stands out with 2,298,319.53 euros, followed by the Canarian General Foundation of the University of La Laguna (836,204.79), CEOE-Tenerife (772,701.51), and the Canarian University Foundation of Las Palmas (766,352.79). In self-employment, the chambers of commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (1,570,590), Gran Canaria (1,432,458), Lanzarote (628,464), and Fuerteventura (577,788) appear, along with the Canarian Confederation of Entrepreneurs (1,356,057).

The list closes with two nominated subsidies: 25,000 euros to the Play and Train Association for an employability project in Fuerteventura, by resolution no. 6949/2026, of 08/20/2026 (38.46% of the action’s budget), and 7,704 euros to the Association of Integration Companies of the Canary Islands (ADEICAN) for the IV Annual Conference of Integration Companies, by resolution no. 7350/2026, of 09/01/2026.

The announcement allows third-sector entities, integration companies, local corporations, and workers with disabilities to verify which grants have been awarded, to whom, and in what amount—a control that the transparency law reserves for citizens and which is key for the associative fabric that sustains protected employment in the Canary Islands.
