The Canary Islands Employment Service opens grants for the integration of vulnerable groups

The Canarian Employment Service (SCE) has opened the call for grants, under a competitive bidding process, aimed at financing integrated labor insertion itinerary projects for vulnerable groups. The call was approved by the Resolution of August 21, 2026, of the President, Jéssica del Carmen de León Verdugo, and its summary was published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands number 175, dated September 1, 2026, with identifier BDNS 926200.

The grants, 85% co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus Program (ESF+) within the framework of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework, are aimed at improving the employability and stable and lasting labor insertion of unemployed persons with special support or insertion difficulties. Beneficiaries and target groups

Beneficiary entities may be non-profit foundations and associations that meet the requirements of the Regulatory Order of the PIIIL, specifically its sixth and twenty-second clauses. Entities that meet any of the circumstances provided for in paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 13 of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, are excluded.

The itineraries are aimed at unemployed persons registered in the SCE employment offices who belong to the following groups:

• Persons in social exclusion or at risk of experiencing it.
• Immigrants.
• Persons with disabilities.

Amount and regulatory framework

To meet the call, a credit of 8,500,000 euros has been approved, charged to the budgetary application 2026.50.01.241L.480.02, action line 504G1460 ESF+ Socio-labor insertion of people in exclusion, from the expenditure statement of the SCE Budget for the 2026 financial year.

The regulatory bases are contained in the Order of the Ministry of Tourism and Employment, of February 18, 2026, which approves the bases for the granting of these grants under a competitive bidding process and indefinite validity, published in the BOC no. 43, of March 4, 2026.

Deadline and submission of applications

The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days, counting from the day following the publication of the summary in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands. The application must be submitted, without exception, through the electronic office of the Government of the Canary Islands, in procedure 6752, where the form will be available.

Along with the application, entities must provide the general and specific documentation set out in the twenty-fourth and twenty-fifth clauses of the Regulatory Order of the PIIIL.

This call for applications reinforces the commitment of the Canarian Employment Service to the socio-labor integration of groups with the greatest difficulties in accessing the labor market, channeling European funds through third-sector entities.
