The Balearic Islands Health Service has approved the call to fill, through the system of temporary internal promotion, one vacant position in the administrative function management group category (A2), assigned to the Sub-directorate of Procurement and Logistics of the Directorate of Administrative Coordination. The decision is contained in Resolution 8767 of the Director of Human Resources, Margarita Bujosa Pocoví, published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) no. 110, dated September 3, 2026, in section II, page 47570.

The call is framed within article 35.1 of Law 55/2003, of December 16, of the Framework Statute of statutory personnel of health services, which allows offering permanent staff the temporary and voluntary exercise of functions of a category of the same qualification level or a higher level. The procedure is governed by the Agreement of February 24, 2012, which regulates the general criteria for the temporary internal promotion of statutory personnel of the Health Service, and by the single scale of Catalan language merits approved by the Governing Council Agreement of January 16, 2026.

The position and its functions

The called position, initially assigned to the Corporate Services, may subsequently be assigned to another unit or service. The workplace is located at carrer dels Gerrers, 17, in the Marratxí Industrial Estate, in Marratxí. The selected person will receive an appointment as statutory personnel under the modality of temporary internal promotion, with a reserved place in the original category and without consolidation of remunerative rights.

Among the assigned functions are the coordination of logistic flows between health centers, corporate warehouses, and suppliers, the supervision of supply incidents, the management of operational data from SAP and business intelligence tools, and the review of logistic circuits to promote continuous improvement.

Requirements and submission of applications

To apply for the position, the following requirements must be met:

  • Be permanent statutory personnel of the Balearic Islands Health Service and provide service to the Corporate Services.
  • Belong to a lower classification group or a different category within the same group as the position.
  • Be in active service status.
  • Hold an official university degree or diploma, technical engineering or architecture degree, or 3rd-degree vocational training.
  • Accredit level B2 of Catalan language knowledge.

The deadline for submitting applications is 20 business days from the day following the publication of the resolution. Applications can be submitted at the Registry of the Health Service (carrer del Carme, 18, Palma), at the registry of any management office, or through the channels established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015.

Selection process

In the event of competition, selection will be carried out through a merit competition and a theoretical-practical test of an eliminatory nature, valued at a maximum of 55 points (45 from the practical exam and 10 from the 10-question test). The minimum score to pass is 27.5 points. If only one candidate meeting the requirements applies, the position will be awarded to them directly.

The Selection Committee consists of three members, with María Isabel Berga Figuerola as president, Cristina Casas Tarrago as member, and María Teresa Pou Navarro as secretary. The provisional and final lists of admitted candidates, merits, and scores will be published on the Health Service website (www.ibsalut.es).

This call opens a path for professional promotion for the permanent statutory staff of the Balearic public health system, who can access a higher-level position without losing their original position. For readers interested in an administrative career within the Health Service, it is a concrete opportunity for mobility and promotion within the field of health management and logistics.
