SACYL publishes the provisional list for the orderlies' employment pool

The General Directorate of Personnel and Professional Development of the Regional Health Management of Castilla y León (SACYL) has published the provisional list of candidates for the temporary statutory personnel employment pool for the category of Orderly, along with the provisional list of excluded applicants and the reason for each exclusion. The resolution, signed on October 18, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León no. 206, dated October 23, 2026, with the official reference BOCYL-D-23102026-206-10. Interested parties have ten business days to submit appeals.

The resolution is issued under Article 8.1 and Article 12 of Order SAN/713/2016, of July 29, which regulates the common bases for the constitution of employment pools for temporary statutory personnel of the health centers and institutions of the Regional Health Management and their operation. The text recalls that this is a competitive process for access to an open and permanent pool; therefore, the managing body has reviewed the merit assessment carried out in previous cut-off periods and has proceeded, where applicable, to its correction or modification.

Cut-off dates and validation of merits

The file begins with the Resolution of February 12, 2025, published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León on February 25, 2025, which set the cut-off date up to which new registrations and merit updates for the members of the candidate list for this category would be considered. Its third section established March 31, 2025, as the new cut-off date.

Subsequently, the Resolution of April 9, 2025, published on April 28, granted a period of ten business days to submit the supporting documentation for the admission requirements and the merits registered in the computer application up to that cut-off date. Once the documentation was received and verified, and the self-assessment of the interested parties was reviewed, the General Directorate has validated or modified the assessments ex officio in accordance with Article 12.1 of Order SAN/713/2016, or proceeded to their non-validation.

Appeals within ten business days

The period for filing appeals is ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the resolution. Appeals must be addressed to the managing body of the pool:

• Health Management of Healthcare Assistance of Palencia, DIR code A07009035.
• Address: calle Los Soldados, n.º 15, 34001 Palencia.
• They may also be submitted at the official registries of Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, and at the registries of the Area Health Managements, Healthcare Assistance, Primary Care, and Specialized Care of SACYL.

During the appeals process, no new supporting documentation of merits will be admitted, as it should have been provided within the period established by the Resolution of April 9, 2025, except for documentation that serves to clarify that which has already been submitted.

Where to consult the lists

The lists are not reproduced in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León. They are expressly exempt from that publication and are displayed in the various Management offices and on the Castilla y León Health Portal. The resolution is also disseminated on the notice boards of the Area Health Management, Healthcare Assistance, and Primary and Specialized Care offices, and is communicated to the 012 Information Service.

The resolution also reminds those who have obtained or obtain a permanent position as statutory personnel of the same category that they cease to be part of the temporary pool and will not be included as admitted candidates, in accordance with the third base 1.3 of Annex I of the Resolution of October 16, 2018, published on October 29, 2018.

Next step: the definitive list

Once the appeals period has expired and the submitted appeals have been reviewed, the General Directorate of Personnel and Professional Development will issue a resolution approving the definitive list of candidates who make up the temporary employment pool for Orderlies of SACYL, as well as its effective date. The document is signed in Valladolid on October 18, 2026, by the Director General of Personnel and Professional Development, Sonsoles García Rodríguez.

The publication affects a wide group of applicants seeking to work in health centers in Castilla y León, who until now only had the list derived from the previous cutoff. The order of the pool determines the call-up to cover substitutions and temporary orderly vacancies in hospitals and health centers, such that any correction of merits in this provisional phase may alter the position of the candidates in the definitive list.
