The Royal Site appoints four career officials

The City Council of the Royal Site of San Ildefonso has made public the appointments of four career civil servants who have taken possession of their posts after passing the corresponding selection processes. The decision, adopted by Mayoral Decree and with the knowledge of the Local Government Board, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Segovia number 105, dated September 2, 2026, on pages 34 and 35.

The announcements, signed by Mayor Samuel Alonso Llorente, are issued under Article 62 of the Recast Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which regulates the taking of possession by career civil servants and its publication for general knowledge.

General Administration Clerks

Through two Mayoral Decrees dated July 15, 2026, two career civil servants were appointed to respective positions as General Administration Clerks, filled via the competitive examination system (concurso-oposición) under the internal promotion track. Both took possession on July 20, 2026:

• Ms. María Henar Rico Gómez, appointed by Mayoral Decree 2026-1124.
• Ms. Ana Mingoarranz García, appointed by Mayoral Decree 2026-1125.

Economic Area Clerks

In a second announcement, the City Council publishes the appointment of two other career civil servants for positions as Economic Area Clerks, filled via open competitive examination. The Mayoral Decrees, both dated August 6, 2026, resulted in the following taking of possession:

• Mr. Rubén Álvarez de Diego, appointed by Mayoral Decree 2026-1261, who took possession on August 18, 2026.
• Ms. Silvia Muñumel Martín, appointed by Mayoral Decree 2026-1260, who took possession on August 20, 2026.

Legal Framework and Publicity

The four appointments are formalized in application of Article 62.1.b) of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, which mandates the publication of the taking of possession by career civil servants in the corresponding official gazette. The publication allows for the accreditation of the acquisition of civil servant status and guarantees transparency in access to public employment, both in the internal promotion track and the open access track.

With these additions, the City Council of the Royal Site of San Ildefonso consolidates the permanent filling of four positions within its administrative staff, reinforcing the General Administration and Economic Area services of the municipality.
