The Plenary of Los Blázquez approves the fee for the municipal gym.

The Los Blázquez City Council Plenary approved provisionally, in an extraordinary session held on 30 July 2026, the imposition and regulation of the fee for the provision of the municipal gym service. The agreement is published in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Córdoba, number 157, of 14 August 2026, page 12388, with reference BOP-A-2026-2775, and opens a 30-day period for interested parties to submit objections.

The measure entails the creation of a new municipal levy that will tax the use of the municipal gym in Los Blázquez, a service that until now was provided without a specific fee. The file, instructed by the competent services of the Consistory under number GEX 2026/183, is processed under Article 17.2 of the Consolidated Text of the Law Regulating Local Finances, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004 of 5 March, which requires that the imposition and regulation of fees be subject to public information before final approval.

Provisional approval in extraordinary session

The agreement was adopted by the Plenary of the Corporation in an extraordinary session on 30 July 2026, in which the provisional approval of the new levy was given the green light. The mayoress-president, María Zulima Perea Rivero, signed the notice in Los Blázquez on 31 July 2026, with an electronic signature registered on 14 August 2026 and secure verification code CEA4F0E8442CACBA3F6B.

Thirty days to submit objections

In compliance with local finance regulations, the file is placed on public display so that interested parties may examine it and submit such claims as they deem appropriate. The conditions of the procedure:

• The objection period is 30 days, counted from the day following the insertion of the notice in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Córdoba, that is, from 15 August 2026.
• The file may be examined by any interested person at the municipal offices of the City Council.
• Claims must be submitted within that period to the Consistory.
• If no claims are submitted, the agreement shall be deemed definitively approved, without the need for a new ruling by the Plenary.

A levy that will affect all users

The new fee will tax the provision of the municipal gym service and will therefore impact all residents who use these facilities. The notice does not detail the specific fee amounts, which are set out in the file prepared for this purpose and may be consulted during the public exhibition period.

With this provisional approval, Los Blázquez takes the first step to economically regulate a municipal service that until now was provided without specific compensation. Residents have until mid-September to review the conditions of the tax and file objections; if there are none, the fee will be definitively approved and will apply to users of the municipal gym.
