The Andalusian Parliament appoints Ana Belén Gómez López as a technical official

The Bureau of the Parliament of Andalusia, in its session on July 22, 2026, has approved the appointment of Ana Belén Gómez López as a civil servant of the Technical body, Technical scale, specialty of Library, Documentation, and Archive Assistants of the regional chamber. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Government of Andalusia number 173, dated September 7, 2026, page 10312/1, with official reference 00341543.

The appointment culminates a selection process initiated by the Bureau itself in its session on June 18, 2025, when it was agreed to call for selective tests for entry, via the open competition system, into the aforementioned body and specialty. The designation is framed within the personnel regulations of the chamber and Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

Selection process and publication

In accordance with clause 7.1 of the call, the qualifying tribunal made public the name of the selected person, indicating the grades obtained in each exercise and the total score, on the notice board and on the website of the Parliament of Andalusia, as well as in the Official Gazette of the Parliament of Andalusia number 9, dated July 2, 2026.

After the selected person provided the documentation required in clause 8.1, the Bureau proceeded, in accordance with clause 9.1, to appoint her as a civil servant on probation and to order the publication of the appointment in both official gazettes.

Provisional nature and taking office

The appointment of Ana Belén Gómez López will be provisional for a period of six months, which will be considered a probationary period, in accordance with the provisions of articles 8.1 and 8.2 of the Personnel Statute of the Parliament of Andalusia.

• Taking office: the appointed person must take possession of her position within one month, counting from the day following the publication of the appointment in the Official Gazette of the Government of Andalusia (clause 9.2).
• Appeal for reversal: optional, before the Bureau of the Parliament of Andalusia, within one month of its publication (articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015).
• Contentious-administrative appeal: before the corresponding Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Andalusia, within two months (article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13).

Signature and scope

The agreement, which exhausts administrative remedies, was signed in Seville on July 22, 2026, by the Chief Legal Counsel of the Parliament of Andalusia, Manuel Carrasco Durán. With this appointment, the regional chamber incorporates a new career civil servant into its staff in the area of library, documentation, and archives, reinforcing the technical services that support parliamentary activity.

Publication in the official bulletin provides full publicity and legal effectiveness to the appointment, guaranteeing the transparency of the selection process and the right of interested parties to challenge the decision within the legally established timeframes.
