ORSNA tenders lighting and walkways in Calafate and Ushuaia

Por FactBox Admin

The National Airport System Regulatory Agency (ORSNA) published three public tenders in the Official Gazette of the Argentine Republic on August 26, 2026, to modernize airport infrastructure in Patagonia. These involve the acquisition of CAT I lighting systems for the Calafate and Ushuaia airports and the provision of two jet bridges for the Ushuaia airport, all processed by the Procurement Operational Unit UOC 58/01 and managed entirely through the COMPR.AR platform.

The three processes correspond to the 2026 fiscal year, national single class, and were published in the tenders section of the gazette with a publication date of 08/26/2026. Bids will be submitted electronically, and the opening will take place via a public act on the same platform.

Relevance for the sector

The three contracts aim to strengthen operational safety and boarding capacity at two of the busiest airports in southern Patagonia, during the peak tourist demand season. For airport infrastructure providers, the common bid submission deadline and the entirely digital processing via COMPR.AR concentrate a significant business opportunity into a single closing calendar.
