El Olivar definitively approves its budget for 2026

The El Olivar City Council has obtained final approval of its General Budget for fiscal year 2026, for a total amount of €192,132.35. The decision is formalized in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, No. 157, of August 18, 2026, as no objections were filed by residents during the public exhibition period.
The mayor, María del Pilar Ruiz Moranchel, signed the notice in El Olivar on August 13, 2026, complying with the procedure established in Article 169 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the Consolidated Text of the Law Regulating Local Finances.
A budget of €192,132 with real investments as the main item
The structure of the expenditure budget is distributed across the following chapters:
- Personnel expenses: €52,730.00
- Current goods and services expenses: €74,825.00
- Financial expenses: €500.00
- Current transfers: €2,200.00
- Real investments: €61,877.35

- Financial liabilities: €0.00
The chapter on current goods and services concentrates the largest allocation (€74,825), followed by real investments (€61,877.35), suggesting a plan for infrastructure or equipment for the municipality.
Expected revenue: taxes and transfers
On the other hand, the revenue of the General Budget of El Olivar is structured as follows:

- Indirect taxes: €13,500.00

With only two positions, El Olivar is confirmed as one of the smallest municipalities in the province of Guadalajara, with a minimal administrative structure for the basic operation of local public services.
Appeals against the approved budget
The announcement reminds that interested parties may file an Administrative Appeal before the Administrative Court of Guadalajara, within two months from the publication of the announcement in the official bulletin, that is, until October 18, 2026.
The final approval of this budget allows the El Olivar City Council to begin the economic management of the year 2026 and execute the planned investments and expenditures, marking the formal start of the budgetary cycle for a municipality that depends largely on transfers received from other public administrations.
