The Institute of Riojan Studies announces a grant of 13,267 euros for popular culture

The Instituto de Estudios Riojanos (Institute of Riojan Studies) has announced, through Resolution 27/2026, of September 2, 2026, of its Presidency, the scholarship for the study of the popular culture of La Rioja 2026, endowed with 13,267.20 euros. The call is processed under a competitive bidding system and its summary is published in the Boletín Oficial de La Rioja (Official Gazette of La Rioja) number 171, of September 7, 2026, page 15347, within section III of other provisions and acts.

The publication is carried out in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and the full text can be consulted in the National Subsidy Database with the identifier BDNS 927473.

Purpose and beneficiaries

The purpose of the scholarship is the annual granting, under a competitive bidding system and in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality, non-discrimination, and efficiency, of the study of the popular culture of La Rioja. Individuals who meet the requirements and obligations contained in articles 13 and 14 of the Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, may apply.

Amount and submission deadline

The scholarship endowment amounts to 13,267.20 euros (thirteen thousand two hundred sixty-seven euros and twenty cents). The deadline for submitting applications will be one month, counting from the day following the publication of the call in the Boletín Oficial de La Rioja.

Regulatory bases and documentation

The regulatory bases of the call are contained in Order CTD/28/2026, of May 14, which approves the bases for the granting of scholarships for the study of the popular culture of La Rioja by the Instituto de Estudios Riojanos. Among the points of interest of the call are:
