The Institute of Riojan Studies announces the 2026 popular culture scholarship

The Institute of Riojan Studies has announced the scholarship for the study of the popular culture of La Rioja for the 2026 fiscal year, endowed with 13,267.20 euros and awarded through a competitive process. The call is published as an extract in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 171, dated September 7, 2026, page 15347, by means of Resolution 27/2026, dated September 2, from the Presidency of the Institute.

The resolution, signed by the president of the Institute, José Luis Pérez Pastor, is framed within Order CTD/28/2026, dated May 14, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of these scholarships. The extract is disseminated in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and is registered in the National Subsidies Database under the code BDNS 927473.

Purpose and Beneficiaries

The purpose of the scholarship is the annual granting, through a competitive process, of aid for the study of the popular culture of La Rioja, in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality, non-discrimination, and efficiency.

Individuals who meet the requirements and obligations provided for in articles 13 and 14 of Law 38/2003, General Law on Subsidies, may apply for the grant.

Amount and Application Deadline

The scholarship endowment amounts to 13,267.20 euros (thirteen thousand two hundred sixty-seven euros and twenty cents). The application period will be one month starting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of La Rioja.
