El Instituto Aragonés de la Mujer y Calanda implantarán Puntos Violeta en el municipio

The Aragonese Women’s Institute and the Calanda City Council have formalized a collaboration agreement for the implementation of “Puntos Violeta” (Violet Points) in the municipality, according to ORDER PJC/1518/2026, dated October 9, which provides for its publication. The text appears in the Official Gazette of Aragon number 206, dated October 23, 2026, within section III (Other Provisions and Agreements), with the official reference BOA20261023023. The agreement was signed on September 16, 2026, and was entered into the General Registry of Agreements under number 2026/6/0447.

The order is issued by the Vice Presidency of the Government and Department of Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport, which orders the publication of the agreement in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 5 and 6 of article 151 of Law 5/2021, of June 29, on the Organization and Legal Regime of the Autonomous Public Sector of Aragon. Article 13 of Decree 57/2012, of March 7, of the Government of Aragon, which regulates the General Registry of Agreements of the Autonomous Community, is also applied.

The agreement was signed by the Councilor for Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport of the Government of Aragon and the Mayor of the Calanda City Council, as stated in the text of the published order.

What the Official Gazette of Aragon publishes

The Official Gazette of Aragon inserts the publication order, not the full articles of the agreement. The complete information of the agreement is available to citizens in the General Registry of Agreements (aragon.es/registrodeconvenios), where the order refers via link to agreement number 2026/6/0447.

The data certifying the publication are as follows:

  • Issuing body: Vice Presidency of the Government and Department of Presidency, Justice, Culture and Sport.
  • Parties to the agreement: Aragonese Women’s Institute and Calanda City Council.
  • Purpose: implementation of Puntos Violeta in the municipal district.
  • Date of signing: September 16, 2026.
  • Registry entry: number 2026/6/0447 of the General Registry of Agreements.
  • Publication: Official Gazette of Aragon number 206, dated October 23, 2026, section III.
  • Official reference of the announcement: BOA20261023023.

An agreement between regional and local administration

The agreement is bilateral in nature: it links a regional body, the Aragonese Women’s Institute, with a local entity, the Calanda City Council. Publication in the official gazette is the procedure that provides the agreement with publicity and allows for public consultation, as required by the regional regulations on the legal regime of the public sector and those governing the operation of the registry of agreements.

The order is dated in Zaragoza on October 9, 2026, and is signed by the Vice President and Councilor for the Presidency, Justice, Culture, and Sport, with delegation in the general technical secretariat of that department, Cristina Asensio Grijalba, by virtue of the Order of November 28, 2024.

The territorial network of the Aragonese Institute for Women

The signing with Calanda adds to the round of agreements that the Aragonese Institute for Women has been publishing in the Official Gazette of Aragon over the last few months, mostly with regions (comarcas) and for the provision of psychological, social, and family educational care services. Among them are, for example:

  • ORDER PJC/1179/2026, of July 30, with the Central Region.
  • ORDER PJC/1213/2026, of July 30, with the Maestrazgo Region.
  • ORDER PJC/1214/2026, of July 30, with the Matarraña/Matarranya Region.
  • ORDER PJC/1221/2026, of July 30, with the Jiloca Region.
  • ORDER PJC/1222/2026, of July 30, with the Gúdar-Javalambre Region.

This pattern confirms that collaboration with local and regional entities is the usual way in which the autonomous body deploys its care programs for women across the territory.

Why it matters

The official publication turns the agreement into a verifiable commitment: any resident of Calanda can consult the agreement registered under number 2026/6/0447 and verify its scope. For a small municipality, having a “Punto Violeta” (Purple Point) means bringing the prevention and care resources for gender-based violence managed by the Aragonese Institute for Women closer, preventing the response from depending exclusively on large urban centers. The order published this October 23 is, in practice, the formal evidence that this deployment is reaching the Aragonese rural environment.
