The Youth Institute (Injuve) has announced 4,701,960.60 euros in grants from the “Erasmus+” program, Youth line, corresponding to the October 2026 round. The resolution, signed by the director general of the organization, Margarita del Cisne Guerrero Calderón, is published as an extract in the Official State Gazette of September 29, 2026 (no. 240, Sec. V-B, page 51217), with official reference BOE-B-2026-31573. The deadline for submitting applications ends on October 1 at 12:00 p.m., Brussels local time.

The call is issued under the regulatory bases for the 2021-2027 period approved by Order DSA/1029/2021, of September 20 (BOE no. 233, of September 29, 2021), amended by Order DSA/619/2023, of June 6, and by Order JUI/463/2026, of May 5. It is processed under a competitive bidding regime for the 2026 financial year and its full text can be consulted in the National Grants Database, with identifier BDNS 931806.

The maximum amount is set in accordance with the Contribution Agreement between the European Commission and the Spanish National Agency (Contribution Agreement EAC 2026-0019) and the available budget credits. The granting is subject to the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of the resolution.

  • Mobility projects for young people (KA152), mobility for youth workers (KA153) and youth participation activities (KA154): until October 1 at 12:00 p.m., for projects starting between January 1 and May 31, 2027.
  • DiscoverEU inclusion action (KA155): until October 1 at 12:00 p.m., for projects starting between March 1 and August 31, 2027.

Objectives and priorities

The call for proposals seeks to develop cooperation in the field of youth within the European Union through projects that promote active citizenship, enhance solidarity and inclusion, foster mutual understanding, and strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations. It is part of the Strategic Grant Plan of the Ministry of Youth and Children, to which Injuve is attached.

Among the strategic objectives are the reinforcement of European values through non-formal learning and international mobility, the increase of youth participation in political, social, economic, and cultural development, equal opportunities for disadvantaged youth, the promotion of associationism and non-governmental youth organizations, and the fostering of decent employment and youth entrepreneurship during the 2024-2026 period. The specific admissibility and evaluation criteria for each action are detailed in the Erasmus+ Program Guide.

The call arrives with a very tight deadline: barely two days between the publication of the summary and the closing of the application submission, which requires youth entities to have their forms already prepared. For the associative fabric and youth organizations, these 4.7 million are the primary European funding route for mobility, participation, and inclusion during the next project cycle.
