IMDEEC expands the Forma y Contrata 2026 call by 350,666.67 euros

The Municipal Institute for Economic Development and Employment of Córdoba (IMDEEC) has approved a funding increase of 350,666.67 euros for the call for incentives for freelancers, companies, and entities that develop training and job placement plans with the linked hiring of unemployed persons. The decision is formalized through Resolution No. 2026/16241, dated September 22, 2026, signed by the president of the organization, Blanca Torrent Cruz, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba on September 29, 2026, with reference BOP-A-2026-3223.

Reinforcement of three lines of the call

The measure is adopted in light of the technical report justifying the provision of additional funding for the Train and Hire 2026 (Forma y Contrata 2026) call, structured into three lines of action: specialized training, competitiveness improvement projects, and social projects. The file includes the report from the General Services Department on multi-year expenditure and has undergone auditing by the organization’s Delegated Comptroller.

The approved distribution for the 2026 financial year is as follows:

• Line 1.1, specialized training plan for the improvement of competitiveness, innovation, or the application of ICT in companies, freelancers, business associations, or professional colleges: 169,200.00 euros.
• Line 2, competitiveness improvement projects: 140,266.67 euros.
• Line 3, social projects: 41,200.00 euros.

Multi-year funding and expenditure control

The increase is charged to the expenditure budget of the IMDEEC, under budget application 0 4390 47000 “To private companies,” with 210,400.00 euros corresponding to the 2026 financial year and 140,266.67 euros to the 2027 financial year. As this is a multi-year expenditure, the resolution reminds that the portion allocated to 2027 is conditional upon the existence of adequate and sufficient credit authorized in that year, in accordance with the provisions of Article 174 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries.

The president’s authority to issue the resolution derives from the delegation of the Governing Council of the IMDEEC, agreed upon in the sixth point of agreement No. 18/2026, dated April 30, 2026, and from the powers established in the statutes of the Local Administrative Public Agency “Municipal Institute for Economic Development and Employment of Córdoba.”

Accounting transfer and publication in the National Grants Database

The resolution orders the notification of the General Services Department of the IMDEEC for accounting purposes and any other appropriate procedures. Likewise, it provides for the insertion of the funding increase into the National Grants Database, whereby the expansion is incorporated into the state registry of public aid.

Impact for companies and unemployed persons in the capital

The budget expansion increases the funds available in a call specifically aimed at freelancers, companies, and entities that train and hire unemployed persons in Córdoba city. For interested entities, the published agreement serves as official confirmation that additional credits exist across the three lines, although the 2027 portion will remain pending credit authorization in the next fiscal year.
