IMDEEC increases taxi subsidies in Córdoba by 270,083 euros

The IMDEEC has approved a funding increase of 270,083.00 euros for Line 2: Digital Support for Taxis of the SELF-EMPLOYMENT 2026 call. The measure was signed by the president of the organization, Blanca Torrent Cruz, through Resolution No. 2026/16406, dated September 24, 2026. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, number 189, dated September 30, 2026, page 14132, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3245.

What is approved and from which budget item

The resolution, processed under file 6686_BA99_2026_00026 (“2026 Gen. Exp. Self-Employment Line 2 taxi drivers”), increases the allocation of the Incentives for the Self-Employed, Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Projects 2026 call in its specific line for the digitalization of the taxi sector. The additional amount is charged to the expenditure budget of the IMDEEC, budgetary application 0 4390 47900 “Other Subsidies to Companies”.

The operative text is structured into three agreements:

• To approve the funding increase in the additional amount of 270,083.00 euros for the SELF-EMPLOYMENT 2026 – Line 2: Digital Support for Taxis call.
• To notify the General Services Department of the IMDEEC for any purposes deemed appropriate.
• To proceed with the insertion of the increase into the National Database of Subsidies.

The budgetary origin of the funds

The additional funding is based on the budgetary modification that the Córdoba City Council approved to reinforce subsidies to companies. The municipal Plenary, in an ordinary session on July 9, 2026, gave the green light to file 007/2026 for a credit supplement financed by the positive liquid treasury surplus from the 2025 settlement, with an expenditure increase of 422,533.24 euros in application 0 4390 47900 “Other Subsidies to Companies”. The file was definitively approved as no claims were filed and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, number 177, dated September 14, 2026 (BOP-A-2026-3101).

This operation is added to other additional allocations that the IMDEEC has approved in recent weeks, such as the 350,666.67 euros destined for the TRAIN AND HIRE 2026 call through Resolution No. 2026/16241, dated September 22, 2026 (BOP-A-2026-3223).

Reports, auditing and competence

The resolution is issued in view of the technical report on additional funding for the call, which was duly audited by the Delegated Comptroller’s Office. The president acts by delegation of the Governing Council, in accordance with agreement no. 11/2026.-SEVENTH, dated March 19, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 60, announcement BOP-A-2026-922, dated March 26, 2026, and by virtue of the powers established in the statutes of the local public administrative agency.

The announcement is included in the Other Entities section of the provincial gazette and bears an electronic signature date of September 30, 2026.

Impact for freelancers and taxi drivers

With this additional allocation, self-employed taxi drivers in Córdoba applying for the digital support line have a larger grant volume to finance the technological modernization of their activity. The inclusion of the increase in the National Grants Database ensures the publicity and control of the aid in accordance with state grant regulations.
