The IMAE Gran Teatro delegates fire maintenance to its president

The Governing Council of the Municipal Institute of Performing Arts (IMAE) Gran Teatro de Córdoba has agreed to delegate to its president all delegable powers as a contracting body in file 2026/29, regarding the contracting of the maintenance service for the fire protection installations of the IMAE buildings. The agreement, adopted in an extraordinary session held on July 29, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 173, dated September 7, 2026 (reference BOP-A-2026-3030).

The delegation is based on the report issued by the General Administration Technician of the IMAE and is processed for the purposes provided for in Article 9, third paragraph, of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector, which regulates the publication of agreements on the delegation of powers.

An agreement approved by majority

The proposal was approved by majority, with the support of the representatives of the Popular Group and the Vox Group, and the rejection of the opposition groups. The breakdown of the vote was as follows:

• In favor: representatives of the Popular Group (5 votes) and the Vox Group (1 vote).
• Against: representatives of the PSOE Group (2 votes) and the Hacemos Córdoba Group (1 vote).

Content of the delegation

The agreement, included in the ninth item of the agenda, contemplates three main pronouncements:

• To delegate to the President of the IMAE all delegable powers of the Governing Council as a contracting body in file 2026/29 for the contracting of the maintenance service of the fire protection installations of the buildings of the IMAE Gran Teatro de Córdoba.
• To publish the agreement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, in accordance with Article 9.3 of Law 40/2015.
• To report on the actions carried out by delegation in the next session of the Governing Council.

Signature and certification

The certification of the agreement was issued by the secretary of the Governing Council, Salud Gordillo Porcuna, with the approval of the president of the IMAE, Isabel Albás Vives, subject to the approval of the session minutes. The document incorporates the Secure Verification Code (CSV) CFBCB15BC57287BD70B2 and was electronically signed on September 7, 2026.

The delegation streamlines the processing of the maintenance contract for the fire protection systems, an essential service for the safety of a benchmark cultural facility in the city. The decision, adopted with the rejection of the opposition, marks the beginning of the contracting procedure that must guarantee the correct functioning of the theater’s installations.
