Hospital Costa Blanca Finestrat opens its health authorization for public information

The Department of Health of the Generalitat Valenciana has opened for public consultation the health authorization file for the opening of the Hospital Costa Blanca Finestrat, in the municipality of Finestrat. This is established by the Resolution of August 13, 2026, of the Undersecretariat of Health, published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) number 10446, of September 8, 2026, in section III of administrative acts.

The procedure opens a period of twenty days, counted from the day following publication, for interested parties to examine the file and submit any observations they deem appropriate. This is a preliminary step toward the eventual authorization of a private center that would expand the healthcare offering of the region.

Regulatory framework of the procedure

The resolution is issued under Order 7/2017, of August 28, of the Department of Universal Health and Public Health, which develops Decree 157/2014, of October 3, establishing health authorizations and updating, creating, and organizing health planning registries. It is also related to Order 3/2025, of April 4, which develops Decree 22/2025, of February 11, of the Consell, approving the Organic and Functional Regulations of the Department of Health.

Where to consult the file and how to appeal

The file is located at the Authorization and Registration Service for Health Centers, Services, and Establishments, of the Sub-directorate General of Health Inspection, in Valencia, at Micer Mascó Street, 31. It may be examined Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 14:00 hours.

Appeals must be submitted in writing at those offices or at any administrative body provided for in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations.
