El Grado convoca 4.600 euros para proyectos de cooperación al desarrollo

The City Council of El Grado-Lo Grau has announced grants for development cooperation for other peoples for the 2026 fiscal year, with a total allocation of 4,600 euros. The call was approved by Mayoral Resolution on October 20, 2026, and its summary is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 203, Thursday, October 22, 2026, on pages 24 and 25, with the official reference BOPH-2026-203008 and identification number BDNS 936553.

The call is based on articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, which requires the publication of a summary of the guidelines and the call in the corresponding official gazette and in the National Grants Database. The full text can be consulted on the state grants portal using the identifier 936553.

Requirements and purpose of the aid

Non-governmental organizations, associations, and non-profit entities headquartered in the province of Huesca that include development cooperation among their goals may apply for the grants, provided they meet all the requirements of the call.

The purpose is to contribute to the financing of development cooperation projects in countries with high levels of poverty, aimed at covering basic needs that increase the development capacity of the people and communities of those countries.

The regulatory guidelines are the Specific Ordinance for the granting of grants for Development Cooperation for other peoples, initially approved by plenary agreement on June 18, 2018, and modified by the Plenary in sessions on September 23, 2023, and July 15, 2024.

Amounts and limits per beneficiary

  • Maximum total amount of the call: 4,600 euros.
  • Budgetary application: 2310-49000 of the 2026 municipal budget.
  • Limit per beneficiary: 80% of the activity budget, with a ceiling of 2,300 euros.
  • Exception: if there is a single applicant who meets the requirements, they may receive the total amount of the allocation, 4,600 euros.

Deadline and electronic submission

The deadline for submitting applications is twenty business days starting from the publication of the summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca, that is, from this October 22.

In accordance with article 14 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, non-profit entities are required to interact electronically with the Administration; therefore, documentation must be submitted through the municipal electronic office (http://elgrado.sedelectronica.es), following the path: Procedures Catalog / General Administration / Grants / Development Cooperation Grants.

The call for applications will also be disseminated in the National Grants Database and on the electronic office of the El Grado City Council. The extract is signed by the mayor, María Carmen Obis Matinero, in El Grado, on October 20, 2026.

The call maintains municipal support for cooperation projects that Huesca-based entities develop in impoverished countries, although with a reduced budget: the 4,600 euros allow for the financing of a maximum of two complete projects, unless a single applicant is presented. For interested associations in the province, the calendar is tight, as the twenty-business-day deadline begins to count from the publication this Thursday.
