The Government grants Andorran nationality to forty-five people

The Government of Andorra has ordered the publication of the resolutions recognizing the right to acquire Andorran nationality for forty-five people. This is done through Decree 393/2026, of October 7, 2026, published in the Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra (BOPA) no. 116, of October 14, 2026, within the section of Other Government provisions. The text collects the resolutions issued by the Minister of Justice and Interior and makes them public for general knowledge.

Legal framework and procedure

The decree is based on article 38 of the recast text of the Qualified Law on Nationality, approved by the Legislative Decree of March 28, 2007. This regulation governs the cases and the procedure for acquiring Andorran nationality and provides for the official publication of the resolutions that grant it.

The file was processed at the proposal of the Minister of Justice and Interior and was approved by the Government in the session of October 7, 2026. The document is signed by the Head of Government, Xavier Espot Zamora, and is dated Andorra la Vella, October 7, 2026.
