Por FactBox Admin

The Government of Andorra has opened the call for the Collège d’Europe scholarship for the 2027-2028 academic year, endowed with 30,000 euros for the Bruges campus and 29,000 euros for the Natolin campus. The opening was made public with the Edict of 10-28-2026, signed by the Head of Government, Xavier Espot Zamora, and published in the Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra (BOPA) no. 125, dated November 4, 2026.
The call is based on the collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education and Universities and the Collège d’Europe for the granting of a master’s scholarship, and responds to the Government’s desire to promote European studies and access to higher education centers of recognized prestige. The edict is published in section 03 Government, within the grants, scholarships, and subsidies section.
Recipients and campuses
The scholarship is aimed at Andorran nationals who wish to pursue official master’s level training. There are two destinations and covered fields:
- Bruges Campus (Belgium), in law, economics, politics, or international relations.
- Natolin Campus (Poland), in interdisciplinary European studies.
Candidates must meet the access conditions —linguistic, academic, and others— established by the Collège d’Europe, which can be consulted in the “Conditions d’admission” section of the center’s website.
Amount and coverage
The grant covers three concepts throughout the academic year:
- Tuition fees.
- Accommodation.
- Maintenance.
The amount is 30,000 euros for the Bruges campus and 29,000 euros for the Natolin campus.
How to submit the application
The procedure has two mandatory paths and an additional requirement for applicants for the Government scholarship:
- Fill out and send the online admission application on the Collège d’Europe website.
- Send a copy of the application and the accompanying documents to the address ensenyament.superior@govern.ad, in a single PDF document and with the subject “Beca Collège d’Europe 2027-2028”.
- Add to the copy delivered to the Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education and Universities a motivation letter explaining the reasons for pursuing these studies, the degree sought, personal and professional objectives, and other elements of interest.
Calendar and selection criteria
The deadline opens on the same day as the publication of the call in the Official Bulletin of the Principality of Andorra, November 4, 2026, and closes on January 12, 2027, at 11:59 PM. The Collège d’Europe makes an initial selection of eligible and ineligible Andorran candidates; if there is more than one eligible candidate, the Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education and Universities decides to whom the scholarship is granted based on four criteria:
- Level of the degree.
- Academic profile.
- Experience in the field of the degree.
- Interest for Andorra.
For inquiries, the ministry provides the telephone number +376 743 300 and the email address ensenyament.superior@govern.ad, as well as the Embassy of the Principality of Andorra in the Kingdom of Belgium (rue Froissart, 95, 1040 Brussels; tel. +32 2 513 28 06; Ambaixada_Belgica@govern.ad).
The call for applications arrives half a year before the deadline and provides a margin to prepare for admission to the center, a process that is resolved before the decision on the scholarship. For Andorran students of law, economics, politics, and international relations, it is one of the few ways to fully fund a European master’s degree, as the grant covers tuition, housing, and living expenses, and not just the academic cost.
