El Garraf appoints Gloria Ardid as interim official for childhood support

The Garraf County Council has appointed Ms. Gloria Ardid Paredes as an interim civil servant for the execution of the Temporary Childhood Support Program, with structural assimilation to a pedagogue position at the SEAIA. The decision, adopted by presidential decree, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona (BOPB) on September 7, 2026, with official reference CVE 202610132410 and file 2912-0602/2026.

The appointment will take effect from the date on which the interested party takes possession of the position, an act scheduled for September 3, 2026. The decree is signed by the president of the entity, Luis Miguel García Alcaraz, based in Vilanova i la Geltrú.

Position Profile and Assignment

The position is assigned to professional subgroup classification A1, according to article 76 of the TREBEP, within the Special Administration scale, technical sub-scale. The new civil servant will be provisionally assigned to the People’s Services area of the County Council.

Reinforcement for Childhood Care

The SEAIA (Specialized Services for Childhood and Adolescence Care) is the county device that attends to situations of risk and helplessness of minors, and the incorporation of a pedagogue reinforces the technical team working with children and families in the territory. The Temporary Childhood Support Program responds to the need to cover this specialized care on a temporary basis.

The appointment is part of the ordinary personnel management of the county entity, which covers technical positions on an interim basis until they are permanently filled. The position is part of the staff and the list of job positions (RLT) of the Garraf County Council.
