El Espinar appoints the tribunal for three Local Police positions

The El Espinar City Council has appointed the qualifying board for the selection process convened to permanently fill three Local Police Officer positions. The decision, adopted by Mayoral Resolution on September 9, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Segovia No. 110 of September 14, 2026 (reference RE-14542).
The process is handled through a competitive examination system (concurso-oposición), in compliance with the sixth clause of the call for applications. The full terms were published in the BOP of Segovia No. 62 of May 25, 2026, and in the BOCYL No. 96 of May 22, 2026, and the board is constituted to direct and evaluate the candidates’ tests.
Composition of the board
The qualifying board consists of a president, four members, and a secretary, each with a primary appointee and a substitute:
- President: primary, David Gutiérrez González; substitute, José Mariano Ruiz Madrid.
- Member: primary, Eva Martínez Alonso; substitute, Ruth Llorente de Andrés.
- Member: primary, Jesús Herranz Martín; substitute, Alberto Fernández Fernández.
- Member: primary, José Manuel Jiménez Veiga; substitute, Carlos Galán Gutiérrez.
- Member: primary, Raúl Martín Escobar; substitute, Noelia Campos Velasco.
- Secretary: primary, Juan Antonio Fernández Rincón; substitute, María Teresa Muñoz López.
A selection process in two phases
The call for applications is carried out through a competitive examination system, which combines the assessment of merits with the passing of the corresponding tests. The qualifying board will be the body responsible for directing the process and ensuring objectivity and equal opportunities among the candidates.
The filling of the three positions is permanent, which entails the consolidation of the selected officers as career civil servants of the Local Police Corps of El Espinar, stably reinforcing the service staff.
Publication and transparency
The resolution provides for the publication of the appointment in the Official Gazette of the Province of Segovia and on the notice board of the municipal Electronic Office, at the address https://elespinar.sedeelectronica.es. The announcement is signed by the mayor, Javier Figueredo Soto, in El Espinar, on September 9, 2026.
