El Cuervo encourages local trade with prizes of up to 500 euros

The City Council of El Cuervo de Sevilla will reward Christmas shopping made at the municipality’s businesses: people who spend 20 euros or more between December 1, 2026, and January 3, 2027, may obtain scratch-off cards with prizes of 500 and 200 euros. The measure was approved by Resolution No. 1684/2026, dated October 21, 2026, from the Mayor’s Office-Presidency, and is published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville (BOP) number 209, corresponding to October 28, 2026, with the official reference BOP-SE-2026-209008 (page 64).

The call for applications reaches the gazette via extract number 223786, disseminated in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies. The full text of the rules can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database, with the identifier BDNS 937929, through the portal www.infosubvenciones.es.

The declared objective of the campaign is to revitalize local commerce by encouraging consumption in the establishments of El Cuervo de Sevilla. This is the third edition of the initiative, called the III Advent Calendar, whose participation rules are published on the e-Notice Board, the municipal website, and the Transparency Portal.

Requirements and registration deadline

Natural persons from El Cuervo de Sevilla who prove purchases with a value equal to or greater than 20 euros in establishments adhered to the campaign may participate in the call.

The registration period begins the day after the publication of the rules and extends until November 13, 2026. Applications are submitted through two channels:

• The General Registry of the City Council of El Cuervo de Sevilla.
• The municipal Electronic Office (sedecuervo.dipusevilla.es), under the “submission of documents” option.

Two prizes of 500 euros and three of 200 euros

Participating members of the public will receive a scratch-off card in which they can win the prizes provided for in the rules: two of 500 euros and three of 200 euros, totaling 1,600 euros.

The amount and format of the prize are fixed in the fourth point of the published extract, which refers to the participation rules approved by Resolution No. 1684/2026 for any other condition regarding the mechanics of the draw and the delivery of the prizes.

Four holidays outside the calendar

The campaign calendar expressly excludes four days for being holidays: December 7, 8, and 25, 2026, as well as January 1, 2027. These days do not count for the purposes of the activity planned in the Advent Calendar.

The extract appears signed in El Cuervo de Sevilla on October 26, 2026, by the mayor-president, José Manuel Oliva Arellano, and occupies page 64 of the provincial bulletin, out of a total of 249 pages in this edition.

Impact on the pocket and on the municipality’s shops

The call provides a direct incentive to the retail trade of El Cuervo de Sevilla during the most active period of the year, by conditioning access to the prizes on a minimum expenditure of 20 euros in participating establishments. For residents, the benefit is twofold: Christmas shopping is done within the municipality itself and carries the possibility of obtaining a cash prize of 500 or 200 euros. The window to join or register is tight, as the deadline closes on November 13, 2026, barely two weeks after the publication of the rules in the official bulletin.
