The Fire Consortium opens the new service fee for public allegations
Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Consortium for Fire Prevention and Extinction and Civil Protection of Córdoba has opened the public information period for the modification of the Ordinance regulating the fee for the organization’s service provision. The agreement was adopted by its General Board in an extraordinary session on October 7, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 203, dated October 20, 2026, in the Other Entities section, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3485.
Thirty days to examine the file
The announcement subjects the file to public information for a period of thirty days starting from the day following the insertion of the edict in the Official Gazette of the Province, that is, from October 21. During this period, interested parties may examine the documentation and submit any claims they deem appropriate.
The procedure complies with the provisions of article 17.2 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, a regulation that requires the public exhibition of modifications to tax ordinances before their final approval.
The text of the provisionally approved ordinance is available to interested parties on the Notice Board of the Consortium’s electronic headquarters:
- Address: https://sede.eprinsa.es/consorcioincendios/tablon-de-edictos
- Document: full text of the provisionally approved tax Ordinance
- Allegation channel: examination of the file and submission of claims during the open period
Final approval without a new agreement if there are no claims
The edict specifies that, if no claims have been submitted after the period has elapsed, the agreement—which until now was provisional—will be considered definitively approved, without the need for a new pronouncement by the General Board, in accordance with article 17.3 of the revised text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries.
The announcement was signed in Córdoba on October 13, 2026, by the president of the Consortium, Antonio Ramón Martín Romero, and features the Secure Verification Code 56E3 EF6A 6D1C 95EF 4D1E.
A session with several far-reaching decisions
The provisional approval of the fee is part of the package of agreements adopted by the General Board in its extraordinary session on October 7, 2026, which also promoted other files of the organization:
- Initial approval of the modification of the Consortium’s Bylaws, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 195, dated October 8, 2026, page 14521 (ref. BOP-A-2026-3421), with one month of public information.
- Initial approval of the Fourth Credit Modification File for Credit Supplements, displayed to the public for fifteen days at the Intervention Secretariat of the Consortium (ref. BOP-A-2026-3424, page 14522 of the same gazette).
- Final approval of the Productivity Regulations for operational personnel, published in full in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 203, dated October 20, 2026, page 15151 (ref. BOP-A-2026-3484).
Impact for municipalities and citizens
The service provision fee is the instrument with which the Consortium finances its activity and passes its cost on to the municipalities that receive its fire prevention and extinction and civil protection services. The modification of the ordinance therefore affects both the coffers of the member town councils and the citizens who benefit from the organization’s actions in the province.
The open period is the only formal opportunity for town councils, groups, and individuals to submit allegations before the regulation is definitively approved. If no claims are registered, the modification will enter into force without passing through the General Assembly again, meaning the public exhibition process becomes the final control filter over the new tariff regime.
