The Citizen Service Consortium corrects the requirements for Administrative Assistant.

The Provincial Consortium of Citizen Service Services has corrected the bases for providing one Administrative Assistant position and has removed the 4-point cap that limited the assessment of professional experience. The correction of errors is published in Official Bulletin of the Province of Albacete number 94, of August 14, 2026, page 23, in Section three, Local Administration. The announcement is signed by the President of the Consortium, Santiago Cabañero Masip.

The affected bases were originally published in the BOP of Albacete number 83, of July 20, 2026. Having noticed a material transcription error, the Consortium has acted in accordance with article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure, a provision that allows public administrations to rectify material errors in their acts and publications. The correction is communicated “for general knowledge” to all interested parties in the selection process.

Removal of the cap in the scoring scale

The amendment affects annex II of the bases, entitled Self-scoring, specifically section A) Professional experience, subsection A1. At that point, the wording “maximum 4 points”, which until now capped the maximum score achievable for this merit, is removed, and the text reads as follows:

• “A1.– For each complete month of service provision as an Administrative Assistant, in any Public Administration… 0.45 points”.
• Each complete month of service in any Public Administration is valued at 0.45 points, with no upper limit.
• The remaining sections and subsections of annex II remain unchanged.

Effects for candidates

The removal of the limit alters the assessment of merits in the competition phase (self-scoring) and, therefore, the order of ranking of applicants:

• Candidates with greater seniority as an Administrative Assistant in any Public Administration will now be able to exceed the previously forbidden 4 points.
• Profiles with a long professional career are favored over those who have accumulated fewer months of service.
• The formula of 0.45 points per month does not change: only the cap that accompanied it disappears.

Legal framework and publication

The rectification is based on article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure, which allows the very administration that issued the act to correct material errors noticed in its publications. The announcement, signed by the President of the Consortium, Santiago Cabañero Masip, is included in Section three, Local Administration, of BOP number 94 and is made public for general knowledge of the participants in the call.

The rectification has a direct impact on the selection process for the Administrative Assistant position: those who submit their self-assessment must count professional experience without the previous 4-point limit. Having been published less than a month after the initial rules, the correction guarantees that the assessment of merits conforms to the will of the calling body before the competition phase advances, and requires reviewing applications already submitted in light of the new scoring scale.
