The Firefighting Consortium publishes the final list of 36 firefighters

The Consortium for the Fire and Rescue Service of the Province of Ciudad Real has approved the final list of admitted and excluded applicants for the selection process to fill 36 firefighter positions included in the 2023 Public Employment Offer. The Presidential Resolution was issued on October 5, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real No. 192, dated October 6, 2026, under private announcements with announcement number 3225.

The resolution concludes the appeals phase opened after the publication of the provisional lists, approved by respective presidential resolutions on July 22, 2026, and August 10, 2026, which were published in BOP No. 139 on July 23, and in BOP No. 153 on August 12. The process is governed by the open competitive examination system (concurso-oposición) and corresponds to the Consortium’s contractual staff.

After the appropriate corrections, the final list consists of 565 admitted applicants and 104 excluded, totaling 669 applications. Most exclusions are due to failure to submit the application in accordance with bases 5.1, 5.5, and 6.2 of the call; others are due to incorrect medical certificates, absence of a medical certificate, or lack of proof of payment of examination fees.

Qualifying Board and date of the first exercise

The announcement also publishes the composition of the Qualifying Board, agreed upon by the Consortium’s Board of Directors on August 31, 2026:

• Presidency: titular Beatriz Laguna Revilla; substitute Carlos Cardosa Zurita.
• Secretary: titular Santos Catalán Jiménez; substitute Marcos Antonio Becerra Díaz.
• Member 1: titular Eva María Talavera Celestino; substitute Manuel González Antequera.
• Member 2: titular José Luis Culebras Soriano; substitute José Manuel Hernández Sánchez.
• Member 3: titular Álvaro Muñoz Carrero; substitute Fernando Sobrino Ramírez.
• Member 4: titular Eugenio Martínez Espinosa; substitute Antonio de la Fuente Moya.

The first exercise of the examination phase will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 09:00 hours at the Paraninfo Luis Arroyo, in the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Ciudad Real, with access via Ronda de Toledo, opposite the Ciudad Real Fire Station.

Requirements for applicants

Candidates must appear provided with a DNI or, failing that, a passport or driver’s license for proper identification, as well as a blue ink pen.

The resolution is published in the Official Gazette of the Province, on the notice board, and on the website www.sciscr.es, for the purposes of the provisions of articles 23 and 24 of Law 40/2015, of October 1, on the Legal Regime of the Public Sector. The document is signed by the president of the Consortium, Julián Triguero Calle, and by the head of the BOP section, Juan Luis Cuadros Campo.

A decisive step for the reinforcement of the service

The publication of the final list closes the administrative phase of the call and opens the preparation period for the theoretical test. For the 565 admitted candidates, November 7 is the key date that will decide their continuity in the process.

For the Consortium, the 36 positions represent a significant reinforcement of the firefighting and rescue staff in the province, who will join once the competitive examination process is concluded. The resolution reminds that the lists and the rest of the official information are available on the electronic office and on the Consortium’s corporate website.
