The Mine Consortium summons the expropriated residents of the Venus Block

The Consorci del Barri de la Mina has summoned the owners of the assets and rights affected by the Expropriation Project by joint valuation of the isolated action AA1 – Bloc Venus of the Barri de la Mina for the drawing up of the payment and occupation acts. The summons is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on September 22, 2026, with the official reference CVE 202610141068, and sets the appearances for September 29 and 30. Once the valuation is paid or deposited, the Consortium is authorized to occupy the affected assets and rights.

The decision stems from the resolution of the Management of the Consorci del Barri de la Mina dated September 3, 2026, signed by the manager Juan Luis Rosique Pérez in Sant Adrià de Besòs on September 4, 2026. The action is part of the Special Plan for the Reorganization and Improvement of the Barri de la Mina and the Expropriation Project by joint valuation of the isolated action AA1 – Bloc Venus, which has been definitively approved.

Five owners summoned over two days

The list annexed to the resolution identifies five summoned parties, all with registered properties on Venus Street in Sant Adrià de Besòs:

• 33.925.826-K — c/ Venus, 5, premises; registered property 10665; activity in commercial premises; September 30, 2026, 9:30 a.m.

All appearances will take place at the Venus Technical Office, at Rambla de la Mina, 11, premises, in Sant Adrià de Besòs.

Requirements for appearance and effects of payment

Owners may attend personally or through a duly authorized representative, and must provide documentation proving ownership and, if applicable, representation or power of attorney. A valid DNI must be presented or, in the case of foreigners, a valid NIE or TIE.

The resolution recalls that, in accordance with article 113.e) of the Revised Text of the Urban Planning Law, approved by Legislative Decree 1/2010 of August 3, the payment or deposit of the valuation amount authorizes the Consortium to occupy the affected assets and rights. This is without prejudice to the definitive determination of the fair price by the Expropriation Jury of Catalonia, if applicable, and the processing of any legally corresponding appeals.

If any of the cases set out in article 51 of the Compulsory Expropriation Regulations occur, the valuation shall be deposited in the General Deposit Fund of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Notification and dissemination of the announcement

The designation will be notified individually to the affected holders and any other relevant persons, and will be displayed on the notice board of the Consorci del Barri de la Mina. Furthermore, the resolution, including the annex, is published in full in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona, in one of the most widely circulated newspapers in the province, and on the Consortium’s notice board.

The call is the step immediately preceding the effective occupation of the properties in the Venus Block and directly affects residents, owners, and holders of commercial activities in the Mina neighborhood, who have during these dates the final window to appear, collect or deposit the appraisal, and defend their position before the Expropriation Jury.
