The Jungle Council appoints 18 officials and interim staff

The Consell Comarcal de la Selva has announced the appointment of 18 people during the month of July 2026, including career civil servants and interim staff, to fill positions for psychologists, educators and social workers, administrative staff, and technicians. The resolution, signed by president Martí Pujals i Castelló, is recorded in edict 7549 of the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP) no. 167, dated August 31, 2026.

The document, with official reference CVE BOP-2026_0_167_7549 and file number 2026/00015552L, is processed from Santa Coloma de Farners and is subject to public information in compliance with articles 82 and 94.3 of the Personnel Regulations for Local Entities, approved by Decree 214/1990, of July 30. All appointments are based on Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, which approves the Revised Text of the Law of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee.

Career civil servants

Eight people have been appointed as career civil servants, under article 9 of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, to fill vacant positions in the general and special administration scale:

• Montserrat Ortiz Expósito, Íngrid Sanchez Rodríguez, Carme Martí González, Eva Brucet Vicente, Gaspar Bosch Turon, Dolors Garcia Molina and Araceli Guerrero González, as administrative managers (group C, subgroup C1).
• Antonia Dorado Caballero, as head of the Specialized Social Services unit (group A, subgroup A1).

Program interim staff

Five appointments have been made as interim program civil servants, under article 10.1 c) of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, assigned to the Program Contract 2022-2025 for coordination, cooperation, and collaboration between the Department of Social Rights and the Council regarding social services and welfare:

• Gemma Massaneda Riera, psychologist (group A, subgroup A1).
• Bàrbara Campos Bermejo, Juan Andrés Osorio Piñeiro and Judit Blanch Colls, social educators (group A, subgroup A2).
• Guillem Domingo Pla, archive and document management technician (group A, subgroup A1), assigned to the program for the normalization of the life cycle of electronic documentary funds of the local administration of the region.

Substitution interim staff

Five people have been appointed as interim civil servants to replace the position holder during a period of temporary disability, under article 10.1 b) of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee:

• Maria Requena Flaquer, psychologist (group A, subgroup A1).
• Míriam Gallardo Guinart, social educator (group A, subgroup A2).
• Lia Pujals Gomis and Anna Zhibo Soler Colomer, social workers (group A, subgroup A2).
• Yvonne del Valle Figuera Villanueva, management administrative staff (group C, subgroup C1).

The volume of new hires directly strengthens the social and educational care of the Selva region, with positions in psychology, education, and social work linked to the Program Contract with the Department of Social Rights, as well as the administrative capacity of the Council. The publication in the BOP opens the public information period so that any interested person may examine the agreement before it becomes final.
