The appointment takes effect from October 7, 2026.
The agreement is adopted upon the proposal of the Provincial Deputy for Equality, Basque Language, and Governance and following deliberation by the Provincial Government Council in its ordinary session on October 6, 2026. The Provincial Government Council, upon the proposal of the General Deputy or the corresponding Provincial Deputy, is responsible for the appointment of persons performing trusted functions, who occupy non-permanent positions so designated in the council’s list of job positions.
The appointment occurs on the same day the Council approved the dismissal of the person previously holding the position. Agreement 631/2026, dated October 6, dismisses Rakel Molina Pérez from the job position reserved for temporary staff with trusted functions as secretary to the Provincial Deputy of the Department of Equality, Basque Language, and Governance, thanking her for the services rendered, also effective from October 7, 2026.

Processing and official publication
The agreement consists of three points: the appointment, the setting of effects from October 7, 2026, and the order to publish the agreement in the BOTHA. The text was signed in Vitoria-Gasteiz on October 6, 2026, by the General Deputy, Ramiro González Vicente.
The resolution is inserted in section I of the bulletin, dedicated to the General Assemblies of Álava and the Provincial Administration of the Historical Territory of Álava, under the heading of the Department of the General Deputy. The same issue of the BOTHA contains the summary of the provisions approved by the Provincial Government Council in the ordinary session of October 6, which includes agreements 620/2026 to 644/2026, including the two relating to this handover.
The change affects the trust structure of the department that manages equality, Basque language, and governance policies of the Provincial Council of Álava, and is resolved with a simultaneous dismissal and appointment effective from the same day.
