The Ciudad Real Youth Voucher: 200 euros for private training

The Ciudad Real City Council, through the Department of Youth, has opened the call for the Youth Voucher (Cheque Joven), a grant of 200 euros per person to finance privately-owned training within the municipality. The call, with a total budget of 15,000 euros, is published via summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ciudad Real number 203, dated October 21, 2026, under announcement number 3397 and identification BDNS 936320 in the National Grants Database.

Competitive bidding and abbreviated procedure

The call is processed under a competitive bidding regime through an abbreviated procedure and complies with the general regulatory ordinance for the granting of subsidies by the Ciudad Real City Council and its autonomous bodies, approved in the plenary session of July 29, 2026, and published in BOP number 184, dated September 24, 2026.

Requirements and purpose of the aid

Young people who meet the following conditions may be beneficiaries:

• Be registered (empadronadas) in the municipality of Ciudad Real.
• Be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of submitting the application.
• Be enrolled in various types of privately-owned training within the municipality itself.
• Meet all the requirements set forth in the regulatory bases.

The objective is to cover training that complements purely academic education, with the dual purpose of promoting lines of emancipation and personal growth, and supporting the local business and commercial fabric, preferably located in Ciudad Real. The voucher is granted only once and is compatible with other grants or aid intended for the same purpose, provided that the total does not exceed the price of the service.

Amount, deadline, and submission of applications

The economic allocation is detailed as follows:

• Total amount of the call: 15,000.00 euros, charged to budget application 7 2312 48002 “CHEQUE JOVEN” of the 2026 Budget.
• Individual amount: 200.00 euros per youth, in a single payment.
• Limit: the aid will never exceed the total price of the service set by the private entity; if the activity costs less, that will be the maximum amount.

The application period opens the day following the publication of the summary in the BOP and ends on November 30, 2026, or earlier if the budget funds are exhausted. Applications shall be formalized according to the model in Annex I, addressed to the Mayor-President of the City Council of Ciudad Real, signed by the interested party, and submitted via the municipal electronic office (ciudadreal.es/subvenciones.html), without prejudice to the provisions of Article 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1. All procedures will be notified electronically through the citizen’s folder.

The call arrives with a tight schedule: just over five weeks from publication to the closing date, and with the express warning that the aid will expire if the budget is exhausted, meaning that early submission is decisive. With 15,000 euros and 200-euro vouchers, the program reaches a maximum of 75 young people, a figure that measures both its actual scope and the speed with which the funds can be consumed.
