The Electoral Census rectifies the address of three polling stations in Soria city

The Electoral Census Office has rectified the address of three polling stations in Soria city, all of which are located in the “Las Pedrizas” public school. The correction was signed by the provincial delegate of the organization, Antonio Delgado Alaminos, on October 27, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 125, dated October 30, 2026, in section I. State Administration, under the official reference BOPSO-125-30102026.

The edict modifies the list of municipalities with the number and boundaries of electoral sections, their venues, and the polling stations corresponding to each, which the Provincial Delegation of the Electoral Census Office of Soria itself published in the BOP on October 12, 2026 (BOPSO-EXTRAORDINARIO-12102026), and does so under article 24 of the Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime (LOREG).

The framework for the call is Royal Decree 806/2026, of October 5, regarding the dissolution of the Congress of Deputies and the Senate and the call for general elections for November 29, 2026, published in the BOE on October 6. In Soria, the Provincial Electoral Board was constituted on October 9, with María Luisa García García as president, Rafael María Carnicero Giménez de Azcárate and Cristina Sualdea Barrio as judicial members, and Estíbaliz Núñez Puerta as secretary; a subsequent correction, published on October 23 (BOPSO-122-23102026), added Antonio Delgado Alaminos to the record as the provincial delegate of the Electoral Census Office.

The three affected polling stations

The rectification is limited to the municipality of Soria (code 42173), district 02, and affects three polling stations:

• Section 008, table U: includes voters from letter A to Z.
• Section 010, table A: includes voters from letter A to K.
• Section 010, table B: includes voters from letter L to Z.

In all three cases, the section number, the table, the census letter range, and the voting venue remain unchanged: the “Las Pedrizas” public center.

From Retógenes Street to Las Pedrizas Street

What is being corrected is the address of the venue. The text published on October 12 located the polling station at Retógenes Street, number 6, Soria (42001), for the three aforementioned tables. The now-disseminated edict establishes that where it said “calle Retógenes 6” it should say “calle Pedrizas (Las), no number”, with the same postal code 42001.

This is, therefore, a material error of address and not a reorganization of the census: no sections or tables are created or deleted, nor is any voter moved to another school. The venue remains C.P. “Las Pedrizas” and only the street listed as the official address of the voting point changes.

Calendar and claims

The initial list was published on October 12 in accordance with Article 24 of the LOREG, which opens a six-day window for voters to file claims regarding the delimitation before the Provincial Electoral Board, which issues a final ruling within five days.

The present correction is signed on October 27 and published in the BOP on October 30, less than a month before the election date of November 29 and with the electoral census already closed for the call.

Impact for voters

The rectification affects voters from Pedrizas Street and its surroundings assigned to sections 008 and 010 of district 02 of the capital, who are those who vote at the “Las Pedrizas” public school. The edict does not alter the location nor the assignment of voters to each polling station, but it does change the published official address; therefore, the valid reference from now on is Pedrizas Street, without number, and not Retógenes Street. Any inquiry regarding the assigned school must be cross-referenced with this corrected version of the Bulletin, which replaces that of October 12 regarding these three polling stations.
