El cens electoral publica les meses de les generals del 29 de novembre

The National Statistics Institute (INE), through the Electoral Census Office and its Provincial Delegation of Barcelona, has published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on October 12, 2026, the edict listing the electoral sections, premises, and polling stations that will be used in the elections to the General Courts on November 29, 2026, in all municipalities of the province of Barcelona. The document, consisting of 122 pages, bears the official reference CVE 202610150687 and directly affects all electors called to vote.

The edict is issued in compliance with article 24.2 of the Organic Law of the General Electoral Regime (LOREG), published in the BOE on June 20, 1985, which requires the electoral premises and polling stations to be made public before each call. The resolution is dated October 12, 2026, and was signed in Barcelona on October 6, 2026, by the provincial delegate, Nuria Pastor Fernández.

A 122-page list ordered by municipality

The text occupies pages 1 to 122 of the gazette and is presented as a continuous table ordered by municipality code, from 001 to 905. Each municipality appears with its sections and polling stations, so that the citizen can locate the premises where they are assigned to vote.

The list includes both large cities and small municipalities: Barcelona (code 019), Rubí (184), Sabadell, Terrassa, Sant Vicenç dels Horts (263), Dosrius (075), Esparreguera (076), Cardedeu (046), Cubelles (074), Lliçà d’Amunt (107), Capolat (045), and La Palma de Cervelló (905), which closes the list on page 122.

What each row of the table contains

Each record of the edict details, in columns, the following data:

  • Province code (08) and municipality code.
  • Municipality and electoral district.
  • Section and subsection.
  • Polling station, with the starting letter and ending letter of the assigned electors.
  • Electoral premises code.
  • Name of the electoral premises and full address.

This structure allows for the precise identification of each polling station and the alphabetical range of voters corresponding to it, a key element for the organization of the election day.

Electoral premises throughout the province

The designated premises are nearby public facilities, mostly schools, institutes, civic centers, and community centers. Some examples collected in the edict:

  • Abrera: Colegio Público Fco. Platón Sarti, IES Voltrera, Casal Social del Barri del Rebato and Casal Social de Sta Mª de Vilalba.
  • Barcelona: Institut Montserrat, Centre Cívic Vil·la Urània, Casal de Gent Gran Roquetes, Escola Turó de Roquetes, Institut Escola Antaviana, Casal de Barri Verdum and Escola Marta Mata.
  • Rubí: Escola Pau Casals and Institut La Serreta.
  • Sant Vicenç dels Horts: C.P. Sant Josep, Centre Cívic de la Guàrdia, Colegio Público de la Guàrdia and Parc Che Guevara.
  • La Palma de Cervelló: Pista del Pavelló Poliesportiu.

The publication of this edict is the mandatory preliminary step so that the city councils and electoral boards can prepare the premises and so that voters receive the census card with the assigned polling station. With the call of November 29, 2026, all residents in the province of Barcelona with the right to vote must consult this list to know where they must cast their vote.
