El Campello puts outdoor advertising out to tender with a base fee of 50,220 euros

The El Campello City Council has opened the public information period for the administrative file regarding the public domain concession for the operation, maintenance, and installation of advertising and information supports within the municipality. The approval was formalized via Mayoral Decree No. 2026/4488, dated September 24, 2026, and the announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante (BOP) No. 190, dated October 6, 2026, within section III. Local Administration. The annual base bidding fee is set at 50,220.00 euros, which may be improved upwards.

The file includes the Particular Clauses Specifications and the Technical Specifications that will govern the tender, which is processed through an open competition procedure. The concession covers three distinct services: the commercial operation of the supports, their maintenance, and their installation, constituting a public domain contract over the municipal public domain.

A base fee of 50,220 euros improvable upwards

The starting price of the tender is established at 50,220.00 euros per year, an amount that interested companies may improve upwards in their proposals. This fee constitutes the economic consideration that the successful bidder must pay to the El Campello City Council for the occupation and operation of the public domain designated for advertising and information supports.

Thirty business days for allegations and offers

The announcement simultaneously activates two deadlines, both of thirty (30) business days:

• Public information: period to submit allegations and claims against the documentation of the file, counted from the publication of the announcement in the BOP.
• Submission of offers: period that opens from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province.

The simultaneous opening of both procedures allows any eventual allegations to the file and the competition of bidders to proceed in parallel, without the submission of offers being suspended by any claims that may be filed.

Electronic submission of offers

Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the electronic bidding system of the Public Sector Procurement Platform, which is the mandatory channel for all bidders. The edict is signed by the Mayor-President, Juan José Berenguer Alcobendas.

The announcement is published in section III. Local Administration of the BOP of Alicante no. 190, corresponding to October 6, 2026, under the heading of the El Campello City Council.

The call opens a relevant market for outdoor advertising companies interested in the Alicante coastline, who have one month to prepare their economic and technical bids. For the municipality, the minimum fee guarantees an annual income of 50,220.00 euros, and the upward improvement allows for increased revenue based on competition between bidders, in addition to organizing and modernizing the advertising and information furniture of the municipal district.
