The application period begins the day following the publication of the summary in the gazette and ends on October 30, 2026. Processing will be available both in person and electronically, by appointment through the Council’s telematic application, and all documentation is available on the electronic office https://sede.tenerife.es.
Competent Body and Processing
The Insular Councilor for Employment, Education, and Youth, Efraín Medina Hernández, shall be competent to resolve this, by virtue of the delegation carried out by the Insular Government Council. The maximum period for resolving the procedure shall be six months from the publication of the summary. Educational centers shall collaborate by certifying enrollment, advising families, and communicating any change in circumstances.
The regulatory bases were approved by agreement of the Insular Government Council on May 27, 2025 (AC0000027954), and the line is incorporated into the Strategic Grant Plan of the Insular Council of Tenerife. Special attention is also provided for victims of gender-based violence, whose data will not be published and to whom a confidential code will be assigned.
Impact for families
The call represents direct support for thousands of Tenerife families with sons and daughters in preschools on the island, alleviating the cost of schooling in the 0 to 3 age stage and facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life. With a budget expandable up to two million euros, the Council reinforces one of its most demanded educational support lines, in a context where access to places in the first cycle of Early Childhood Education is key to equal opportunities.
