The BOP modifies the polling station for section 054 of Seville
Por FactBox Admin

The Electoral Census Office of the Provincial Delegation of Seville of the National Statistics Institute has published the change of address for the electoral venue of section 054 of district 02 of Seville, which has two polling stations, for the General Court elections on November 29, 2026. The modification appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 200, dated Thursday, October 15, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-200032. The announcement is signed by the Provincial Delegate, Alberto Iriarte García, on October 14, 2026.
The text recalls that the list of Sections, Polling Stations, and Electoral Venues where the voting will take place on November 29, 2026, was published in the Official Gazette of the Province on October 12. Following that publication, the Seville City Council communicated a change of venue address affecting one section with two polling stations, therefore the Electoral Census Office proceeds to publish the modifications made “for general knowledge.”
The venue appearing in the updated list
The announcement identifies the electoral venue and the address corresponding to the two polling stations of the affected section, with the following detail:
- Municipality: Seville
- District: 02
- Section: 054
- Table A, letters A-K: CEIP San José Obrero, calle Verano 10, 41009 Sevilla
- Table B, letters L-Z: CEIP San José Obrero, calle Verano 10, 41009 Sevilla
Both polling stations therefore share the same electoral college and the same address, located in the postal code 41009 of the Sevillian capital.
Other venue modifications in the same week
Section 054 of Seville is not the only venue change published during those days. In the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 199, dated Wednesday, October 14, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-199022, the Electoral Census Office reported several modifications communicated by different city councils:
- Benacazón: section 003, two polling stations, at CEIP Talhara, calle San Sebastián 14, 41805 Benacazón.
- Marchena: sections 001 and 004, one polling station each, at the Colegio-Convento San Agustín, calle San Agustín 1, 41620 Marchena.
- Seville: section 007, two polling stations, at CEIP Calvo Sotelo, calle Arroyo 44, 41008 Sevilla.
In all cases, these are last-minute adjustments to the initial list of electoral venues, published just a few days before the start of the actual electoral period.
Regulatory framework and electoral bodies
The general elections were called by Royal Decree 806/2026, of October 5, published in the Official State Gazette number 248, of October 6, 2026, to be held on November 29, 2026. At the provincial level, the Zonal Electoral Board of Seville was constituted on October 9, 2026, according to the edict published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville number 198, of Tuesday, October 13, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-198024.
The composition of that board is as follows:
- President: Ana Cristina Escribano Mora
- Judicial members: Fernando María García Campuzano and Jorge Bodes Fernández
- Secretary: Francisco José Ramírez Ruiz
The Electoral Census Office acts as the competent body to establish and update the sections, polling stations, and premises where the right to vote is exercised, and its resolutions are published in the provincial gazette to guarantee the publicity and legal certainty of the process.
What this means for voters
The change of address of the polling station requires voters of section 054 of district 02 of Seville to go to CEIP San José Obrero, at calle Verano 10, to cast their vote on November 29, 2026, both those included in table A (letters A-K) and those in table B (letters L-Z). This is a section with two tables, so the modification affects a significant volume of voters in the capital. Publication in the official gazette is the planned channel for citizens to know the exact voting point in advance and avoid going to the wrong address on election day.
