The BOP of Málaga publishes the electoral boards for the 2026 General Elections
Por FactBox Admin

The Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga publishes in its issue of October 13, 2026, the composition of the members of the Provincial Electoral Board of Málaga and the zonal electoral boards of Antequera, Málaga, Marbella, Ronda, and Vélez-Málaga for the 2026 General Elections. The announcements are collected in section 3, “ELECTIONS”, of the bulletin’s summary, with the references Edict 3986/2026, 3984/2026, 3985/2026, 3968/2026, 3982/2026, and 3969/2026. With this publication, the list of members of the bodies responsible for administering and resolving the electoral process in the province is established.
Six edicts in the Elections section
The summary of the provincial bulletin reserves a monographic section for the 2026 General Elections, separate from the announcements of the Collection Board and the province’s city councils. It details the composition of each board, indicating the reference municipality and the official reference of the announcement:
- Provincial Electoral Board of Málaga — Edict 3986/2026.
- Zonal Electoral Board of Málaga — Edict 3984/2026.
- Zonal Electoral Board of Antequera — Edict 3985/2026.
- Zonal Electoral Board of Marbella — Edict 3968/2026.
- Zonal Electoral Board of Ronda — Edict 3982/2026.
- Zonal Electoral Board of Vélez-Málaga — Edict 3969/2026.
The six announcements share the same heading —“Composition of the members of the Electoral Board… General Elections 2026”— and are published simultaneously in the same issue, so that the province already has the complete structure of its electoral administration. The Elections section also appears as an independent block within the summary, following the sections dedicated to provincial collection and city councils.
The Provincial Electoral Board and the zonal boards
The Provincial Electoral Board of Málaga is the reference body for the province as a whole, and its composition is published under Edict 3986/2026, the first of the six electoral announcements in the issue. Below it, the bulletin details the constitution of five zonal boards, which cover the main territorial areas of the province:
- Antequera, head of the northern zone, with Edict 3985/2026.
- Málaga, for the capital and its surroundings, with Edict 3984/2026.
- Marbella, on the western coast, with Edict 3968/2026.
- Ronda, in the mountain region, with Edict 3982/2026.
- Vélez-Málaga, in the Axarquía, with Edict 3969/2026.
The joint publication of the six compositions in a single issue allows for the consultation of a single official document to see who makes up each of these bodies and which territorial area each board corresponds to.
Polling stations and venues, published one day prior
The constitution of the boards occurs one day after the bulletin disclosed the material infrastructure of the process. The issue of October 12, 2026, included, within the National Statistics Institute section, the “List of sections, polling stations, and electoral venues for the 2026 General Elections,” corresponding to Edict 3886/2026. Both announcements complement each other: to the list of sections, polling stations, and venues is now added the identification of the bodies called upon to resolve incidents and proclaim the results.
With the publication of these six edicts, the municipalities of the province now have the official reference for the boards to which parties, candidacies, and voters must address themselves during the 2026 General Elections. The Elections section of the Official Gazette of the Province of Málaga thus becomes the point of consultation to verify the composition of each body and its territorial scope.
